Opening up a restaurant is always more than money. The restaurant business requires large amounts of dedication and attention to small detail. Mr. Beast was simply way over his head, either he focused completely on Mr. Beast Burgers, or on his YT career, and well, we know which one he chose.
No his ego is so huge he thought his burger shop was going to stay extremely relevant, just by his name. Not spending extra on supervisors checking on multiple locations. And Beast in a video after releasing was claiming he was going to spread the chain all over the US lmfao don’t know a single person who went to Mr beast burgers

@@tmproductions18 it clearly shows that you don't understand how ghost kitchens work. he didn't open a store. it's not his fault the businesses ran it into the ground. their already established. they know what quality control is. it has nothing to do with ego. the business owners fumbled the bag, and he stepped up and claimed the responsibility of his name being on it. that's why they are suing him because he stated this might have been a bad idea to let others handle the business model.
300 restaurants is too many restaurants to open all at once. Especially if you've never had a restaurant before.

I'm from the UK and Mr Beast Burger has just popped up on just eat. Its the exact same address as a chicken shop and they are trying to charge £18.99 for a burger and chips and that's the standard meal if you want to get a double its an extra £3. Absolute joke.
Mine said just over £22 once you add the lettuce, onions, sauce ect.
Obviously I never bought it and at that price, never will

Ghost kitchens are fast to set up but extremely unpredictable. Imagine tryinf to keep up with the fact that a restaurant in florida would have the exact same brugee quality as a restaurant in new york selling nr beast burgers.
I thought it was sorta weird, then realized how dumb of an idea it was when I looked it up and realized they just sold a bunch of paper products to existing restaurants that were sold on the hype to sign a contract. You can usually find out which it is if you look up the location. The one I tried in Denver was a Red Robin, which is probably fortunate. But then you factor in, where is the delivery driver from, what actual ingredients are they using, who is tasked with making the Beast products, and how are they trained? Its absurd and should completely be a failure. There's no way you can interrupt a normal business with this extra menu the employees need to make separately, and expect it to be even remotely consistent or reliable.
If the business can't handle extra traffic, they should probably not enter into a contract that requires it.
@@Wyzai for sure, but when they made so many so quickly, I'm sure there was a ton of marketing and pressure. So, besides that business owners are often not in touch with the employee experience, they likely didn't really know what they were getting into either.
I'm not saying it was 100% the burger and/or fries, but afterwards my gf's stomach didn't set well and about an hour later I had what felt like a mrbeast from hell trying to escape my body. For probably an hour straight, it was, by far, the worst case of the runs I think I've ever experienced in my entire adult life and probably the most painful. It was a one and done.

I had Mr. Beast's burger 3 times--the same double cheeseburger with just pickles and mustard, with a side of Mr. Beast (seasoned) Fries, and a large coke. The first time, it was huge. The patties were the same width as the bun and they were thick. The fries were crispy and cooked to perfection. The coke was cold and strong. The second time, The burger was smaller, the pickles were THICK cut. The fries were still good. The coke just tasted like carbonated water. The third time, the burger was the size of my fist. There were no pickles. The fries were soggy and undercooked. Again, the coke was carbonated water. It was like they didn't care after the first time. I know it's only 3 times and maybe they just had bad days, but meh...twice with a bad order out of 3 was enough for me to walk away. 😑

Mr Beast is a fascinating case because although he *seemingly* does charity work/fundraising, he is otherwise an utter bell end.

Really enjoyed this one, keep it up man! personally too old to go flocking to buy something because a UA-camr slapped their name on it, read into it at the very start and just knew the quality control would be 0 and it was just the hype that squashed all the negative feedback at the start, same with Prime the negative reviews got crushed by fans but now the hype is dying and people really don't buy it anymore especially for £2 a bottle, my local Asda hasn't had to restock the shelve for over two weeks due to nobody buying it.

I’m beyond shocked by the prices 😮, I very rarely eat takeaway so it has been a while but £9:50 for a chicken burger and £7:99 for that cheese thing with 2 slices of plastic unmelted cheese..wtf.
No matter how rich I am I still wouldn’t pay that for a burger unless it was the best tasting burger ever made 1 of 1

We just got them in Australia and it’s so bad for the price. $22 just for a beast burger before any fee’s and they taste exactly the same as the burger shops that are cooking them, apart from they’re half the size and double the price
So pretty much they taste like the average Hungry Jacks/Burger King or McDonalds burger, gotta ya.

Golden Corale, Becca De Beppo, Perkins Restaurant and bakery are the few kitchens that hosted Mr. Beast burger near me. It's so hard to have consistency, especially when those chain stores get stock from different supply companies.
The funny thing is The whole "opening Beast Burger to help out struggling restaurants" thing was a lie.
His manager in an interview in 2020 said they had been working on Beast Burger for over a year, meaning before the pandemic even started.
Isn't that like saying:
"The whole Opening new jobs for jobless" thing was a lie!
They were already making job opportunity for over a year, meaning before a recent job crisis started!
I'm pretty sure mr.beast admited himself he was already looking over at having his burger brand, with the pandemic he made it real AND helped people too.
I was going to order it until i released it was coming from my local hotel kitchen and trust it wasn't a nice hotel either i dodged a day on the thunder box lol
I feel like saying he "opened 300 restaurants" is a bit misleading, since the ghost kitchens they operated with existed before then, jimmy basically added some recipes/menu items

I watched “The founder” one of the dialogue from original mcdonalds characters said creating restaurants franchises is impossible to supervise the quality of the food. I even know about fast food restaurants locations can be sometimes crap when i was young. I can’t believe Mr beast is still relevant after all this incident.
I don't have an idea currently of what to cover, obviously pokimane at some point, but I love this idea for a series and would love to see more.
I can confirm at my job they don’t have nothing to teach you on how to make the burger. It’s all a guessing game

I’m not sure if you even watched the video mate but MrBeast didn’t get any money from it, got sued for 100 million, lost tons of brand reputation and will continue to so long as they continue selling the burgers. I’ve had it and it was absolutely vile honestly the worst food I’ve ever eaten I took 2 bites and threw it away and ordered McDonald’s 😂

The problem is straight out of the gate an issue, where as I would NEVER order ANYTHING from a "Ghost Kitchen" that have to complete orders for 4, 5, 8, 9 or even MORE restaurant menus IN A SINGLE LOCATION. These concepts are a receipt for disaster and disgustingness.
Yeah just checked Ireland, yep not a great rep here either, where its coming from in Dublin appears to be a secret, few ropey spots in that area, all the reviews you give match there too
The quality of mrbeast burger is very dependent on the quality of the ghost kitchen. In Toronto Mr beast burger is fire, but I've heards horror stories from out of the city.
ghost kitchens are always so hit or miss. me & my homie got lucky the first time we ordered the burgers, but i can 100% see its like a grace of God we got our food the way it was compared to so many..especially that super pink not cooked patty wtf

I ordered this today to try, if it arrives cold I will put it all in the air fryer for a few minutes which honestly is what you should have done.
My uber had one but it was an hr away so I didn't bother.

Cultivating a "fast food" restaurant takes time you can’t just burst into the scene and expect to take up a large or lasting market share. It’s a theme where there is no after care with his work , just cause u throw lots of money at it doesn’t mean it will work long term

I tried this with my brother for his birthday - it was a pretty decent chicken burger, i quite enjoyed it, albeit not spicy as it was advertised. Unfortunately myself and my mum had bad stomachs the next day.
