This is definitely something we need. Brutally honest opinion on these products! It works so well because Ik for a fact that you won’t bend over backwards for anyone and actually give an honest review!
Little tip for blind taste tests, you always want to cleanse your palate in between sips or mouthfuls with water. As otherwise the order in which you drink them can have effects, as the one before may distort or mess up the taste of the one after etc. ;)
I saw some experts talking about Prime and they said the marketing for the drink is very misleading as it barely functions as a sports drink, as it's low in sugar and sodium which are important in a sport drink and the amount of calories a lot of these drinks have aren't a problem because you're supposed to drink it after intense physical activity.

He's always compares his "hydration drink" to actual sports drinks such as Gatorade and Liquid-IV and talks about how it has less sugar and sodium compared to those two even though they are important ingredients for a sports drink.
As a person who can't have much sugar and still need that good tasting hydration drink, I like prime. Yeah the marketing could be misleading a bit but it is a good alternative compared to other sports drinks that people in my situation can't drink due to risks

I’ll admit, I was lowkey expecting a systematic Kavos takedown of the brand but I really like that you did this with an open mind and were more honest than many people who are promoting it.
I feel like prime definitely hit the mark with what they were going for. Now I don't think it's a good drink for endurance / working out due to its low sugar (sugar is a necessity to keep the body fuelled during long duration exercises but as a replacement for energy drinks or soda it definitely puts in a great shift (due to its low calories and actually tasting good)
I agree 100 percent. It's anything but a "sports drink", but it helps keep cravings down when I cut. Normally before workouts, I go for a PB&J on white bread for the carbs and protein. People need to understand the correct usage of carbs.
Not sugar but glucose and there can be many things that can give you glucose to help with aerobic/anaerobic respiration that basically helps fuel your muscles

I have to say those drinks warm and cold make a huge difference, I’ve tried all flavors and they all taste way better cold than warm I would suggest retrying them cold. Love this series though a nice original idea can’t wait to see more

If anyone wants a simple taste explanation, it tastes like if you made Koolaid with no sugar added. It's very tart and somewhat sweet, but it checks out. I'm a gym freak and, while I don't like it's having Sucralose (wish they would've used erythritol), it's very good at sedating cravings through my cutting phase. I'd recommend it if you've got a small town market that you can pick up a dozen for 13 bucks like I can. 👍 Btw, Meta Moon is the best and I couldn't tell you what the taste is supposed to be. If you put a gun to my head and asked me to identify what the flavor is, I say to tell my family I love them. 😅
It's about 2.50 dollars £2 in the UK and that's with the cost of living crisis. 70 cents , 50 pence for boost and powerade is about £1 or 1 dollar 20. It's just simply not worth it, tried a couple of the flavours you described it perfectly. I probably would drink it more for cutting, but I'd rather just get flavoured water and then occasionally a protein drink
This was actually not a bad review all things considered. Obviously your vocabulary to describing the products in the blind taste tests themselves wasn't giving off any imagination to us but otherwise good stuff. I think for the end you could've added "Final" chart to show case both blind and none folded best to worst chart. Otherwise it's been good stuff so far and as the show progresses, I'm expecting the background to also take it's shape. You've obviously thought through how the format of the series is suppose to look before final cut, and I think that you've done wonderful job at constructing the picture to how the episodes format will lead on.

I think that's the point, seemed to me as if he is trying to make this more like a documentary like series while keeping it witty and unbiased. I could see them going down to 25/20mins or up to 35/40mins depending on the product because you have Sides and Mr Beast burger which both have decent size menus as well as Wingstop or Drinks which could be quick or bundled videos. I'm curious to see where Kavos goes with this.

I tried the ice pop one back in December I found it to be amazing because I love ice pops. Then tried the lemon lime flavor and my immediate thought was " well this is horrible what a waste of $10".I regretted trying that flavor instead of just buying another bottle of ice pop

I’m sure there might be better flavours, but being 35 years old, I have the patience to let that shit come to me rather than going out of my way to ever go apeshit trying to find it lol. distribution warehouse in Toronto i work at has the contract for Prime drinks. 100s of skids came in 2 weeks and its almost all gone. I tried the Red Prime and it tastes exactly like kool-aid. what a waste of money.
This is actually a cool series. My ranking of the prime flavors was relatively the same. Mine, worst to best, was orange, grape, ice pop, lemon lime, tropical punch, meta moon, blue raspberry
Most of the sidemen actually ranked the same (I think only 1 or 2 were swapped ) and some actually disliking similar ones (orange and the green one being some)
Feel like it’s a lot different buying it in the US vs UK. I see it all the time fully stocked in Kroger. Seems like only flavor people really buy over here in my experience is Blue Raspberry, other than that, people just buy Gatorade or Body Armour

The idea that KSI blames Asda workers for prime annoys me greatly. Like take some responsibility for your mid tier drink being out of stock instead of trying to scapegoat asda workers.
I'm not a big fan of KSI but I see a lot of his vids and all, (you can't get away from it). I've only seen and read Logan and him being borderline overly transparent about the issues with Prime ever since the very beginning. JJ and Logan have taken full responsibility for all of the issues that they are responsible for and fix them/are currently fixing them. It's not like it's a scam. People also think, and have the expectations, of Prime being a drink like Fanta when it ISN'T that. KSI/Logan/Prime company can only control so much. I know this first-hand bc I owned a successful business for years and I know that to be 100% true. It's infuriating! Did you watch just that one clip of that interview where he talks about the asda workers? Or the entire thing? The way you are speaking leads me to believe that you haven't watched it all. *Context matters.* That IS happening. I don't hear him using their actions as a "scapegoat" and I deliberately look out for that stuff. The workers doing that is true and is a serious problem. A problem that no one could have forsee. He's very much so allowed to talk about it and to be upset by it. I would. So would you. Everyone knows the asda workers aren't the reason for the shortage. They are just A. making it worse, B. are illegally doing it, (a FEW illegal things), C. AND they should be fired for it. If this were any other brand I'm sure you wouldn't have made this comment.

Feel like it’s a lot different buying it in the US vs UK. I see it all the time fully stocked in Kroger. Seems like only flavor people really buy over here in my experience is Blue Raspberry, other than that, people just buy Gatorade or Body Armour

I’ve just been to Sam’s club in the USA and saw a whole pallet of Prime. $20 for a 15 pack of PRIME. Not that popular around here.

@@ekonomixx I'm pretty sure kavos bought his overseas, but ye shipping will eat into your profit. Guess just work out the numbers on shipping, how much competitors are selling so u can undercut and how much u source them for. If all else fails, u still got a product u can drink lol
I had the blue and green ones, they taste good when you drink them, but the after taste is pretty bad. Gatorade is better imo.
It's because they use those artificial sweeteners, so they can say they use less sugar, but still be sweeter than the competition.
Honestly as an American I find it crazy how mythical a mid drink is over there due to poor supply 😂

The idea that KSI blames Asda workers for prime annoys me greatly. Like take some responsibility for your mid tier drink being out of stock instead of trying to scapegoat asda workers.
I'm not a big fan of KSI but I see a lot of his vids and all, (you can't get away from it). I've only seen and read Logan and him being borderline overly transparent about the issues with Prime ever since the very beginning. JJ and Logan have taken full responsibility for all of the issues that they are responsible for and fix them/are currently fixing them. It's not like it's a scam. People also think, and have the expectations, of Prime being a drink like Fanta when it ISN'T that. KSI/Logan/Prime company can only control so much. I know this first-hand bc I owned a successful business for years and I know that to be 100% true. It's infuriating! Did you watch just that one clip of that interview where he talks about the asda workers? Or the entire thing? The way you are speaking leads me to believe that you haven't watched it all. *Context matters.*
That IS happening. I don't hear him using their actions as a "scapegoat" and I deliberately look out for that stuff. The workers doing that is true and is a serious problem. A problem that no one could have forsee. He's very much so allowed to talk about it and to be upset by it. I would. So would you. Everyone knows the asda workers aren't the reason for the shortage. They are just A. making it worse, B. are illegally doing it, (a FEW illegal things), C. AND they should be fired for it. If this were any other brand I'm sure you wouldn't have made this comment.

Context matters of course but the clip of seen of ksi talking about asda workers is always everywhere. not the context of why.
