Today we are going to look at just a few of the chaotic situations Fousey has gotten himself into. It’s sad to watch, clearly Fousey needs help but I also don’t think it’s an excuse for the things that Fousey has been doing in persuit of fame.

That's a perfect way to put it: mental health can explain this kind of terrible behaviour, but it doesn't excuse it. Especially when that person knows about their mental health issues and they don't take the necessary steps to mitigate potential episodes as much as they possibly can. In the 48 hours before his arrest, Fousey was openly admitting to not taking his medication. No excuse for that.

Mental illness is always just an explanation, but never an excuse. Those filming with him are beyond enablers. They are all equally as guilty for his spiraling. He genuinely seems like a danger to himself and or others. Shame on him and those around him.

I’m not sure I agree they’re just as equal, but they are definitely responsible. Unlesss they’re directly telling him to do certain things, then I do agree they’re enablers to an extent, but I don’t agree they’re just as guilty unless they are directing him to do things.

Honestly it’s sad that no one around him cares enough to get him the medical help he needs, but on their end it’s probably exhausting to deal with so you don’t really know who’s at fault.

maybe its because i have a lot of experience with individuals who are diagnosed with mental health disorders but you can tell in Fouseys eyes when his disorder has totally taken over.
I lost my brother to suicide a few years ago. Let me just say this, my brother was such a respectful and kind individual on any normal day. When he was manic he was an absolute menace. I know it's hard to draw the line of accountability but a lot of manic individuals don't even know the extent of the destruction they cause themselves and sometimes those around them after they come down from a manic episode. My hope is that we can find a deeper level of empathy for those who struggle because what a shitty card to be dealt in life.

His parents escaped war-torn countries came to America, and put their children through college (He has one brother who is a dentist with his own practice, another brother who is a pediatrician, and a sister who went to law school). Even if I acquired half of what he did, if I got out I’d take time away, spend it with family, spend time in reality, grow, change and wait years until I showed my face again online. I don’t know how familiar you are with him, but this is the third or fourth breakdown he’s had. I think after the last time he was in public when he got embarrassed in a boxing ring he lived with his sister, visited his family, visited a mental health facility and built himself back up. But unfortunately he seems to be in love with the idea of celebrity, fame and financial wealth. It doesn’t mix well with his personality disorder

He has worked in the film industry and posted videos here on UA-cam to know that he's responsible for his behaviour, like getting a ToS violation on his videos and etc, so I don't know how he could cave in to the pressure that he ran into Kick. The thing about Kick is, because Twitch and UA-cam have really refined and know what content creators have posted to form its ecomony, Kick is primitive and there's Fousey running in Kick, not really caring about what to expect. Because he's been out of trouble for so long, he simply thought whatever people saw wasn't going to happen to him. It says something about Fousey when he yells "Stop using my name to talk about mental health!". So, it doesn't seem like he was forced to stream for himself.

I suffer with something called “Complex PTSD” and I spent most of my life in and out of prison for various reasons until I was diagnosed and haven’t been in trouble once since but I now work with mentally Ill ex criminals and I tell my story etc infront of them and talk to them about options they can take to stop finding themselves in the same situation or worse and I work with all sorts of mentally Ill ppl but sometimes you can see how a person acts and after a while you can tell what kind of past they’ve had or what they dealing with by body language and I would bet everything I own on the fact Fouseytube has bipolar and it is a crack in adulthood and not from birth as he wasn’t always like this and that says something happened to him that is so bad he can’t find himself again and he’s not talking about it and if I had to bet I’d bet on the fact that someone behind the scenes has sexually abused Fouseytube and as a Muslim who find that even worse coz of his religion, it’s created a crack in his mind that has led to bipolar.

Trust me as a nurse....I kinda suspected it. Most people who get SAed usually on most cases crack if they don’t get the right help/ treatment for their trauma and end up hiding behind addiction of some sort to stop or quiet the noise in their head. And with him it’s both sexual and alcohol addiction. They also exhibit very low self esteem and seek any source of validation . Clout is his validation. Despite the mental health issues which I do hope he gets help, most of the stream feels like a character he's playing with the exaggerated expressions. But you can't deny that whatever he's been doing has overall been extremely entertaining. The numbers speak for themselves, people like the intrigue.
I don’t care what this guy says. From a viewer’s point of view it’s extremely entertaining. Of course we don’t want anything bad to happen to him but the energy/content on these streams is nuts. That’s why he had 75k watching at one point.
For some it's entertaining, for others it's probably more like watching a horrible car crash. For those that it is entertainment, I think it shows the power a key board and computer screen has in completely separating any form of human empathy.
