- Scoring in the NBA has gotten out of hand, but this isn't the first time this has happened. Basketball had a similar issue over 40 years ago, and their solution saved the league...

Great to see you post your first long-form video, hopefully the first of many!🙌
More to come! Thanks for the support ❤
Expansion should be to Mexico City and Vancouver, but because of money the cities will probably be Las Vegas or Seattle.
It’ll be Seattle for sure. And this is coming from a Canadian who would much rather have another Canadian team. i’ll be cheering for the sonics once they return however.
Seattle, Vancouver, San Diego, LV and Mexico (west)
Montreal, Baltimore, Buffalo, Jacksonville and Tampa Bay (east)
They should go to Kansas City because you have KU and k-state right next door and they already have a venue ready.

this feels like one of your shorts but it just keeps going. great vid
This is a really fkn good video.. this isn’t talked about enough.. very true
I even saw London on a list. That would be very interesting but not sure how it would work as I'm assuming travel to and from London would be taxing on the players
Its a crime Seattle doesn’t have a NBA team, lets hope expansion is (at the very least) announced in the next year or so.
Nah. Not a crime. Not “a crime.” /
Honestly it’s unacceptable! Don’t be shocked that all of a sudden they expand to 4 cities.
@@dreamcage1801 at once?, do it staggered like in ‘88 and ‘89? Or where they expand to 2 cities, wait a few years then expand to the 2 other cities?
@@squidMB yup something like that
Basketball has 206 billion to a trillion hoops all around the world like Australia, Japan, China, Canada, the USA & so much more!🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎
Seattle and Vancouver by far make the most sense. I do t see a Demario where the NBA passes those two cities up.
the league is so talented now adding 4 teams may not put a dent in scoring per game. Maybe 6 to 8 but the time it will take to get back to scoring averages if there was one would be less time than any other time with team expansions.
I don’t see why more scoring is bad tho… it makes the regular season games more fun to watch
Still gotta play defense tho
More teams will not lead to less money per team if the right teams are added. Mexico City and Montreal would add 100's of millions of spanish and french fans world wide that don't tune in right now - so it should be Montreal and Mexico City
NBA could consider adding teams in Louisville, Pittsburgh, Nashville, and even Baltimore. Mexico City would be good, but also consider Anaheim and maybe Buffalo.
Please do more long form videos
The first of many!
fyi, I just subscribed, despite hating "shorts" please make more of these longer analysis videos
I will, thanks so much for your support!
Hope seattle gets a team too
Vegas doesn’t need a team a Vancouver Seattle rivalry would be great or Vancouver Toronto rivalry
Ok maybe hating? But anyone who’s watched basketball in the last decade knows basketball is not the same, really put me off when you said at 0:15 that the league is the same
Mexico,City!?!?!? That wont happen in my lifetime....
Sorry to hear you only have 4-6 years left to live.
Bring the NBA back to Seattle, Vancouver, Las Vegas, and Pittsburgh (if not Pittsburgh-Kansas City instead). Move New Orleans, Memphis, and Minnesota while including Pittsburgh or Kansas City to the Eastern Conference to balance both conferences out. Everyone is happy
If 3 western teams and 1 eastern team joins then only 1 western team needs to move east. 18-18
@@EdV-et6qm based on recent reports, Adam Silver would be more interested in bringing a team to Montreal and Vancouver of all places 😁 and obviously Seattle and Las Vegas.
Mexico City? Cool!!
Hey Tyler could we be friends
That UA-cam title does not happen to be the truth. /
Seattle and Vegas comes first before Mexico City and possibly Kansas City before 2027.
P.S: The nba should return to NBC
What about Europe?
The logistics for flying so many hours for most games would be a nightmare and probably unattainable, so Mexico makes way more sense than any other city cause it’s one of the most populated cities on earth with around 20 million people, so the tickets are almost guaranteed to sell, plus then the league stays in North America
Ok thanks👍

Your position that the reason for scoring being up is because of talent is laughable. Yes, offensively capable players are more available, but the league has handcuffed players defensively with freedom of movement and excessive foul calls. The league also doesn't call travels or other offensive infractions like it once did.
Another point you made is, the league is thriving. Finals viewership was declining before COVID and it's only rising slowly, but it's still well below 2017 numbers. Global appeal in the NBA is up but in the States it's declining. Revenue is up but again, fans aren't interested in the game.
