  • Hello, today the 435i gets a set of OEM 437m wheels. In addition, four new Continental ExtremeContact Sport max performance summer tires alongside four new Huf TPMS sensors. I also applied a ceramic coating on the wheels called Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour to allow for easy cleaning. Applying the cermaic coating is extremely simple. These wheels are forged and come off the M2/M3/M4s. Moreover, they compliment the 3/4 series vehicles very well and is a common set of OEM wheels BMW enthusiasts put on their 3/4 series. The tire & wheel specs are the following;
    Skip to 6:27 for 437m wheels on the 435i.
    Front Wheels: 19x9 +29 Offset / 21.9lbs each
    Front Tires: 235/40/19
    Rear Wheels: 19x10 +40 Offset / 22.5lbs each
    Rear Tires: 265/35/19

    Did u restored the 437 wheels for bent repair and powder coat paint after u bought from bimmer? Or u simply change the tyres without wheel repair ?

    How do you like the ride with the new wheels and tires? Curious but will that aspect ratio setup damage the xDrive system? I have a set coming in for my 440i.

    • @slowcarfastmods

      The ride is super smooth with the new setup! In addition, some decent rim protection from the taller sidewalls on the tires from my previous setup. Also as long as the rolling diameter doesn't exceed 1% of oem spec there will be no damage to the xDrive system.

      Same exact question, I have the rims already but just afraid to put them on because I don’t want to mess up the xdrive system. My car is 2017 440i coupe and is completely stock and I have staggered 437m. If theres a chance that it can damage my system I will probably just sell them. I want the assurance that there is 0% chance fo damage them.

    How is the treadwear on the extremecontact sport? Some report only getting 10k miles out these tires

    • @slowcarfastmods
      @slowcarfastmods  3 роки тому +1

      Bill so far probably 85-90% tread still but only driven about 3.5k miles on them. 10~12k miles sound about right for these tires and that’s probably spirited/getting on it driving style. I’ll get about 15k for me since I don’t track or drive hard on them that often, maybe once in a blue moon.

    Is there anything you can do fix the rubbing with the front setup? Im planning on getting 437m
    I'm running stock OEM 403m m sport wheels 225/40/19 front and 255/35/19 rear and there is rubbing when reversing in full lock to the right

    • @slowcarfastmods

      Hmmm the only way is probably down sizing the tires, but tbh the rubbing is minimal and I’d say this setup is perfect look wise with an inch or two of lowering!

    How did you install those 437m on your 435i with no poke on the rear tires... I have a 435i and just purchased a set of staggered 437m that are 9 inch wide. Fronts fit perfect, However, on rear and they have about an inch poke. Please let me know what you did to prevent this. I love the 437M style and don't want to go with aftermarket. Hope to hear from either one of you or anyone who has this similar set up on their 435i.

    Was thinking about doing the same setup. You think going 245/40 and 275/35 would help the sidewall profile? Or would it possibly rub?

    • @slowcarfastmods
      @slowcarfastmods  3 роки тому +2

      Lee Xiong it would fill the wheels wells more for sure with the taller sidewall. I had a tiny amount of rubbing with full lock on the steering wheel while reversing with this setup. So with the taller sidewall you’re considering you’ll probably have a tiny bit more rubbing that I do at full lock reversing. I’d personally recommend Front 235/40 & Rear 265/35. This setup with a modest drop like 1.5~2inches will look amazing.
