Kingsnake Sheds it’s Skin.....from Start to Finish!

Last night I was able to catch my California kingsnake shedding his skin from start to finish. This is something I don't always get to see because he usually sheds his skin late at night or when I'm not in the reptile room. The way snakes shed their skin is such a fascinating and beautiful thing to watch. I hope you enjoy the video.

Thank you. For him I use an Arcadia deep heat projector. In the back right corner is a large flat rock that is under the heat and he sometimes basks on top of that or burrows underneath it.
