Brilliant engineering and driver experience I’m sure. Definitely a step into the future for Ferrari. BUT, I’m just old school and the styling can’t hold a candle to my 458 spider. And the sounds aren’t even close. Depends what one is looking for I suppose 😊

I remember the big differences between the tech in the Ferrari 360 Vs. F430. It was game-changing with the Manettino (at the time). Clearly things have moved on.👍
Great car no doubt, BUT it’s not a McLaren 750S that just beat it over quarter mile drag race on Matt channel CarWow….. Is it that better than the F8 Tributo …? Not so sure ! But you have to admit interiors are fantastic….. !
And didn’t the 296 smash the 750S in 2 rolling starts? Plus the 296 smashed the 750S in the first of 3 quarter mile drags and was just pipped in the next 2? 296 any day for me!!!
@@TimothyMunro that result was because of poor start….. The 750S was the ONLY car to beat the 911 (992) turbo S over the quarter mile… .. by the way this Ferrari steering wheel is far to fussy…. @@TimothyMunroMatt had a delayed start on the first race. Also the full experience goes beyond a drag race. I wouldn’t actually care if the 296 was slightly quicker in a drag race (but it isn’t quicker due to the weight of the batteries).
@@conner.9262so you like the 296 interior but don’t like it’s performance? That’s the opposite of just about everyone else. If the 750S is actually quicker, then it’s by fractions of a second at most. 60-130MPH times for 296 have been shown to be as quick as a 765 and an SF90 so kind of hard to imagine the 750 is going to beat a 296.

Love it, geat to drive..a small thing, never understood why they put a silver exhaust frame as standard. It gets covered in carbon very quickly and looks a bit meh. They sell a black one as an option for a mere £3000+ !
No it isn’t. The 750S is the best supercar on sale now. Objectively the 296 is a great car no doubt but it’s too heavy and too digitized. 750S is much lighter which helps all aspects of driving and it has good feedback through hydraulic steering
Having owned multiple McLaren’s, NOTHING except Aston depreciates faster or requires more frequent service. As a Ferrari collector, I very seldom have similar issues. When they work, McLaren’s are certainly quick though.
Hi Andrew - Ferrari 296 is growing on me, when launched I thought no not a V6 but now I’m thinking hmmmm?
Thank you for the great review! A beautiful Ferrari! Is this a Rosso Corsa?
Nice review, balanced and comes across as frank and honest 👍
Great review on my favourite marque. This model has joined my favourites 275 GTB 330 GtC, 246 Dino, 308GTB, 328 GTB, Roma.
Thanks for the kind words!
Lovely motor. Lovely example you have there. Ferrari are in a great place at the moment with the Roma and Purasangue etc. Well done.👍👏👏👏
Thank you!

That is a very fair point. It grows on you, though, as this is one of the best supercars. ☺
Yep.... you should do lot's of reviews....you have great cars and know much more about the real nuances of them than the so called 'Influencer's'!
Thanks! Everyone has its own place. 😊

Nice but not as iconic as the 458 unfortunately. I’m sad to see the circular rear lenses go 😢 to me that’s a Ferrari trademark

Thank you for educating me on my Ferrari 296 GTB in due time in Jesus name, thank you God
Beautiful
It’s plain looking but everything else is great
I'm gonna wait for the next generation of the 296. It looks like they simply beat Corvette to the punch on the design.
