I've made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgement, and I don’t expect to be forgiven, I'm simply here to apologize. So what we came across that day in the woods was obviously unplanned, and the reactions you saw on tape were raw, they were unfiltered. None of us knew how to react, or how to feel. I should have never posted the video. I should have put the cameras down and stopped recording what we were going through. There's a lot of things I should have done differently but I didn’t, and for that, from the bottom of my heart, I am sorry. I want to apologize to the Internet. I want to apologize to anyone who's seen the video. I want to apologize to anyone who has been affected or touched by mental illness, or depression, or suicide, but most importantly, I want to apologize to the victim and his family. For my fans who are defending my actions, please don't. They do not deserve to be defended. The goal with my content is always to entertain, to push the boundaries, to be all inclusive in the world I live in. I share almost everything I do. The intent is never to be heartless, cruel, or malicious. Like I said, I've made a huge mistake. I don't expect to be forgiven, I'm just here to apologize. I'm ashamed of myself. I'm disappointed in myself and I promise to be better. I will be better. Thank you.

It's incredible how hard it is for some people to just... take responsibility. Like Ludwig said, it's extremely humanizing when someone goes 'damn, I fucked up, I'm so sorry.' People will forgive a TON if you just show humility and a willingness to learn. But Logan just intent on proving over and over again that he only feels sorry for himself, and isn't going to learn from past mistakes.

because this wasn't a mistake, he intentionally tried to lie and manipulate his audience. Honest people who make mistakes will own up to it, but people who intentionally try to scam you are obviously not going to admit to it.

@@NihongoWakannai i'd be the devils advocate and say that maybe he did not watch the full video from coffee when he made that initial response or maybe was not in the right space to think rationally about what was being said and thought his character was being blame completely for all the fallout of that project. and lets be honest, looks like the circle he keeps around is not really the best for these types of talks in the first place.
i feel like by talking to coffee, he got some clarity hence he walked it back.

As someone who grew up on Santa Clarita, I can say for sure that the Gentle Barn is a credible, caring, and effective animal sanctuary. Many of my friends have volunteered there over the years and I've only ever heard good things from them, and seen good things when I was there.
Good to know that rescue is legit good. We need more places like that. ^^

I grew up on a farm and raised pigs. Pearl has been shown to be pretty small compared to “normal” pigs her age throughout the last few years. I’m very unfamiliar with her breed to be honest. My guess is Logan heard mini pig thinking it’d be like 50 pounds or lighter, and was possibly disappointed to find out it grew well over his expectations. Animals grow when fed properly. Please research before you buy them people.
Edit: I’m not saying he abandoned Pearl in that field. I know he rehomed her. I watched the video. I’m saying he didn’t research the pet he was buying. The “possibly disappointed” part was perhaps unfair of me to say. I’ll take the L and flame on that if it was. Honestly this is just my farm boy rant about people not researching pets before they buy them.

But there are a lot of mistreated animal in SCV due to the high amount of ranches that rich people that live in LA or around there house animals and neglect them or at least leave it up to trainers to, in many cases, cover cost for medical bills that owners refuse to pay.

I've volunteered at a potbelly pig rescue and they are the cutest, most emotionally intelligent animals. I'm glad Pearl is in a good place now.

I love the gentle barn been to their Santa Clarita local multiple times, I am very glad they were able to take in Pearl. She will have fantastic care. I am also glad the gentle barn is getting a lot of love, they save farm animals, their big thing is you can hug a cow, pet pigs, cuddle turkeys, they open for visitors on sundays and it’s just the best. They take care of a massive amount of animals and are a really wonderful non profit.
If I’m ever in the US and around that area I’m definitely going there for a visit. Hugging a Turkey sounds lovely ☺️
I believe the terms used for the distinguishing marks of colored areas on an animal are "coloration" or "pattern," the former more used for situations like the pig in question, where the marks are not in an easily classifiable form.

It’s weird that the second pig is never named because as far as we know, it could have been his second pig that he bought because Pearl was lonely and depressed. I would assume that Logan would re-home the two together because it’d be kinda fucked up if he didn’t.
A similar comparison to bringing your pets to another country is Pewdiepie, he fucking fought tooth and nail to get his dogs to Japan so I am 100% sure that if you truly love your pets you would do anything to get them to a different country too.

You can love something and also realize it's not a good fit. It sounds like he found a reasonable home, but the person who re-homed after that may not have done a good job
I generally dislike shaming people for rehoming their animals -- people don't know what it'll be like to have a given animal till they have it, and it can be best for the animal and human to rehome. There's different types of love -- the love to fight to stay, together but also the love to find move apart to hopefully better situations.
(As far as dogs/cats go -- it's horrible that so many die in shelters, but instead of shaming people for surrending their animals, imo TNR and low cost/free pet sterilization/vet access, outreach and education to communities that have feral/stray issues and abandonment is way to go, so less end up in street/shelter and so when someone needs to rehome, it's easier/there's more availibity)

Edit: Yes. I am vegan, for those who are wondering. Being vegan has given me a sort of lightness, physically and emotionally. It is a lot of work to convince yourself that torturing and killing animals for pleasure is okay. Letting go of that is very freeing. In no way, at any time, has veganism been even remotely inconvenient for me.

I dunno about that, not in this case. It took Logan years to even sort of rehab his image after the suicide forest video. People didn't forget that shit and hate him for it to this day.
