Love these videos! It’s about to turn off hot and dry here in Missouri so I’m trying to psych myself up for all the watering. And the bugs. And the humidity. 🥳🥳. Kip is such a superb garden helper. ☺️☺️
I can just imagine that their are not enough hours in your day to get all things that you want or need to get done, done!☺️ Wonderful video and the Japanese Maple is beautiful. You chose a spot where it is going to be absolutely stunningly gorgeous and be able to see it grow for many years to come. I always have loved the colours and pretty shaped leaves for the Japanese Maple. Helen from Australia 🦘🐨🏄🪂
Love watching your videos, I learn something everytime. I love planting something new and see how it does, but here in Alabama you never know! LOL. So far this year has been very dry and Hot. I would love to plant a Japanese Maple. Would love you opinion about it in my region. Thanks again for sharing. And Kim too so cute!
I like to use a coffee filter in my pots, seems to work better than rocks or shards. Also by the end of the growing season when I am emptying my pots in the Compost pile, the coffee filter has already broken down so no digging the rocks out 👍
I like to put small branches and garden waste in the bottom of my planting pots, a bit like a mini Hugelkultur, it breaks down & stops the soil from coming out the bottom
Hi. New subscriber here, i always saw your reel i make subscribe instantly. I really enjoy your videos. Hope i can make my on garden when i’m going back to my country philippines. Cause i cannot make garden here in saudi arabia.
I planted a new shrub when the root ball fell apart when removing from can. What is the best thing to do. I planted and hoping for the best. Will monitor. I kept asking myself what would Kaleb do?
How long do the WHITE "BALL" FLOWERS KEEP BLOOMING, MT Everest I think you called them on your latest video of your garden? I love the purple and white 'ball' flowers around the house I DONT KNOW What they're CALLED, sorry.🥺 Thanks for sharing
I love listening to your cheery voice and happy attitude about gardening. But my God! I get so distracted when you show us your gorgeous legs. Very few men have legs like that and only a few more women. I always have to back up and try to just listen to keep from getting distracted again. Love your attitude about gardening and if you don't get to it there is usually next year. and if something doesn't do well I remind myself that most everything is going to die in a few months anyway when fall gets here. Every year I start vegetables but then when I have problems I just tell myself next year I'll go to the farmers market and let them grow the vegetables for me. But then next year there I am growing vegetables again. I am growing everything in pots on my large deck because of the deer, but now there is a groundhogs that climbs up onto the deck and eats so much stuff. Like lettuce, kale, basil, beans and pea leaves and squash, zucchini and cucumber leaves also. The only thing it hasn't eaten so far is tomatoes, mint and thyme. it was even eating my marigolds flowers. How do keep the deer and other animals out of your gardens?
I love the enthusiasm you show with everything in your videos.
Your dog is so well behaved and very cute.

Hi Caleb I gotta find a Japanese maple for full sun. I don’t have shade in my North Texas garden. Kip is adorable. Thanks for this great video.

Another good tender root crop is yacon…tastes like a cross between an Asian pear and an apple. Yacon was easier for me than ginger or turmeric.
Meet me at Ragbrai, would love to meet you. Bring your bike.
