      @@celestinetoussaint6350 there are just as many products you can use before they expire. You can be an adult and still act like an ignorant. Let's not fall into that "I'm older so I'm more inteligent". No
      You are not suppose to change a product before reaching the 3 months of usage and if you use it up in 1 months you should buy it 2 more times to decide if it's worth it or not. Therefore you wouldn't be able to use more than 8 essences/toners before they expire. But why would you buy all that at once when you could just change your products when you need new ones.
      It's excessively materialistic and consumistic

    Coming back to this to thank you for this because I ended up trying Dr Ceuracle and it's my favourite essence of all times. My skin tends to be oily at times but this has never -ever- made my skin greasy. It's brilliant. And the packaging is a dream.

  • @charlenehart
    @charlenehart 3 роки тому +25

    I tried the Laneige CSR and I wasn't fond of it. I found it to be greasy, it just sat on top of my skin and didn't absorb well. Not to mention the fact that it broke me out :/ The Dr. Ceuracle essence, however, is the exact opposite. I've been using it for almost a week now and my skin seems to love it. It gives me hydration without any tackiness/greasiness. It sinks in immediately after application and layers so well with other products!

    • @Ourjourneytohealth

    • @charlenehart
      @charlenehart 3 роки тому +1

      @@Ourjourneytohealth I’ve been using it everyday, both in the morning and at night! I pair it with a lighter moisturiser (iunik centella gel cream) in the AM and a heavier one (farmacy’s honey halo) in the PM. Although, if my skin is on the drier side I just use the Honey Halo for both morning and night. The Dr. Ceuracle essence sinks in immediately! There’s pretty much no residue after application (wait maybe... 10 seconds after applying?) so there’s no oiliness/tackiness even after I top it off with a moisturiser :)

    Hi Kelly - ok you've convinced me to try the Dr Ceuracle, as my ears heard the words "even more moisturising" than the Laneige cream skin (which I love on my very dry reactive skin). I am currently using the cream skin, but I'll try the Dr Ceuracle the next time i need a replacement bottle. This is my third bottle of the cream skin which I use all year round, but I have extremely dry skin (I often layer it two or three times over a purely hydrating/soothing toner). The centella ampoule is on my list to try, but fortunately I rarely (if ever) get pimples on my mature, dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin. I also watched Michelle's video with interest re the succinic acid and the marketing lol. Best wishes.

    Hi Kelly, you make a good point re % of Centella Asiatica extract vs % of *biologically active components*
    They aren't always directly proportionate.
    On that note, would you care to compare the Sidmool Macenna 115 Ampoule on your next This or That?
    Incidecoder has the ingredients as:
    • Centella Asiatica extract
    (67%)
    • Madecassoside (1%)
    • Madecassic Acid (1%)
    • Asiaticoside (% unspecified)
    • Asiatic Acid (% unspecified)
    I am intrigued, as it's the only Centella product I know of, that specifies the % of biologically active components.
    Sidmool appears to be one of the very few brands, that are transparent about ingredients.
    Their Green Tea Catechin Ampoule also has the biologically active component listed (0.02% catechins).
    I wish brands would be more upfront.
    Most just fob consumers off with the standard "this is proprietary information so we aren't at liberty to disclose" line.

      It's possible to be sensitive to any ingredient. Just because it's touted as a soothing ingredient for most, doesn't necessarily mean it's going to work for everyone. If the product or ingredient doesn't work for you, cut your losses and leave it behind.

    Centella Asiatica extract already contains asiatic acid, madecassic acid, asiaticoside and madecassoside. It's up to the manufacturer to either group them all up and refer to them as centalla extract or to list them individually.

      @KellyDriscoll  3 роки тому +1

      @@KellyDriscoll yes that would definitely boost it's benefits but I doubt that brands would go through the trouble of isolating the individual compounds and adding it to a product that already has them in the form of an extract .
