    Good job. I had a problem getting my right side cover off too. It didn't want to let go on the top tabs.

      I hadn't thought of one either until one of the guys on the Advrider forum mentioned it's about $700 or $800 to replace it! LOL

    I did sub your channel so I could learn more about these bikes. Really like your front rack better than alot of others I have seen. Mine will be for dirt roads an minor off road, just retired so its gonna be my retirement present to myself, thx for the vid an following.

      I hope you can find one. They have been in very limited supply with a lot of people on a waiting list, but maybe they are getting caught up now. I know a lot of guys that wanted one finally gave up waiting and bought something else..

    I may add the exhaust bar in the future, the new speedo took my fun money this morning lol. Funny, my front rack came scratched as well but I have a different one than you. Also, got your email and will get back to you tonight. Can't wait to know what gear I am in lol. Also thinking of trading three of my bikes in on either a CBR300R ABS or a Monkey, I just hate change.

    • @spydie
      @spydie  3 роки тому +1

      What three bikes are you thinking about trading in? A CBR300R, huh? It's a nice bike, but I've outgrown the crotch rockets. I've had at least four Kawasaki Ninjas years ago. I like the Honda CRF300L.

      @@spydie Well I have been looking at both the CB300 and the CBR300, my daughter is short 5'1" and both of these fill the bill for her and I. If, and that is a big if, I have separation issues lol, I would let my 2007 VT1100, 2004 GZ250 and a 2008 Zuma 50T go. That would leave me sharing a bike with my daughter and the Trail 125 plus bikes I am working on. I have a C50 out in the drive waiting for a few warm days to work on it. The room I would gain in my garage would be awesome. Side note, the VT1100 should be a show bike it looks so nice.

    • @spydie
      @spydie  3 роки тому +1

      @@SpyderTom1 That VT1100 is a nice bike. You have a lot of street bikes. have you thought about a Royal Enfield? I'm looking at the Himalayan and the INT650. Very inexpensive and the reliability has really improved over the years. More of an old school classic bike that I really like.

      @@spydie Thanks and I have but if I share it, because I am a good dad, I'll have to get one she likes also, crotch rocket here we come lol. I do love the Royal Enfield, for some reason it reminds me of living in Europe.

      @@SpyderTom1 I just found a new bike... Royal Enfield is releasing the 350 Meteor into the US. That's really nice. Check it out. Pretty cool.

      Just go to Ebay and look for KLR 650 tail bag. They are about $155 wherever you find them.

    Great vid, subbed! Am wondering how to protect the other side of the rack from being dropped, any ideas? Or will the top rack protect the panels?

    • @spydie
      @spydie  Рік тому +1

      The crash bar I put on the exhaust only protects the exhaust pipe. I think the rear top rack will keep it from getting scratched on the left panels unless you drop it on a rock.

    Finally got my CT125 this week. I'm digging the exhaust crash bar. Curious which model it is and where you got it. Thanks!

    • @spydie
      @spydie  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Matt. Congratulations. It's a fun bike. I got the exhaust guard from Beez Deals online. Not hard to find because there's only one model. Like all accessories for the bike, they all have to come from mostly Thailand and a little from Japan. So you'll have to wait awhile to receive you new toys.
