Okay, that’s actually hilarious now that I think about it. Somebody else would be trying to play that piano I’d imagine, and the keys would feel like they’re frozen solid; they wouldn’t budge when the pianist tries to play a chord; yeah? That would be so hilarious; as soon as Nahre comes to the piano and plays it, they’d work like normal. “Seems fine to me”; then the other one would try, and the same thing would happen…? That would make the most hilarious UA-cam video!!! Big prank!
I had the privilege of hearing a Nahre Sol piece, Crossroads, performed live today, and throughout the piece I was reminded of the Legend of Zelda soundtrack. Funny coincidence that I found this!
This is not even a cover, this is almost like your own original ideas melted together in a colorful patchwork quilt, just inspired vaguely by the idea of Zelda's main theme. Absolutely amazing!
This is terrific! Are you adapting video game scores for piano? A live performance of this work would be thrilling!! Perhaps arrangement with chamber ensembles would be a good project for the future. Anyone reading this reply with a thumbs up if they agree. There is so much potential for reviving acoustic classical music with this movement.
It's always cool to hear fan covers. Hearing a cover by a pianist of your skill level, however, is something completely different. Absolutely wonderful!
Since I already heard this amazing cover from your last video, I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the editing with all the different angles as well!
Your legato is buttery!!! OMG, there is so much potential for this to be expanded upon. Nahre could absolutely revive neo-classical piano with arrangements like this.
Yay, a Zelda cover by Nahre Sol! Dreams come true 🧚 TLOZ: Ocarina of Time is what first got me into a music store and started my musicianship journey. This is an excellent cover representating that series. Thank you!
OOT’s soundtrack made me want to be a musician, it’s crazy how that happens. Playing BotW and hearing the rearrangements of all the iconic themes decades later was deep. Thanks Nintendo for my, well, life path lol. Nahre’s arrangement really is a dream come true. If this channel was around back then I’d have skipped the concert music training and kept doing this.
I hope this gets you a massive amount of views that spill over to your other fantastic content! Honestly, I work as a professional classical singer, and I absolutely loved your very straightforward and honest video about choices after academia. I think EVERYONE I know, who are also professionals struggle with this transition.
Beautiful! Nahre Sol, with her artistry, deep musical knowledge and intelligence, amazing fingers, generosity, and didactic skill is such a gift to us. We can only wonder what she comes up with next. Thank you Nahre!
You are one of my favorite human beings. I hope to be able to arrange and play like this some day, but even if I can't, I feel a strange fulfillment in even listening to you play. You are so special, and so gifted. What a beautiful arrangement. Now I'm going to skip the rest of work and just practice for the rest of the day lol.
The original video was fab, with great insights and production. And this rendition was brilliant and a great ending, glad to have it as a separate video for listening (and re-listening, and re-listening... Etc!) Thanks!
Yes! So happy you're continuing to explore Video Game soundtracks. Beautiful combination of styles and techniques, especially minimalism and impressionism, in your own style. Just beautiful ❤️
Just floored by this. Beautiful, beautiful arrangement with so much depth and complexity, and so many layers of just rich emotion that just rips your heart out, all with stunning skill, precision, dynamics, just everything. I can't say enough good things. I want to play this on repeat. God I love Zelda music and I love this arrangement/performance. Side note, also really enjoy watching how genuinely into the music you get while playing. So relatable.
So lovely! I love Breath of the Wild, so for you to cover it was a nice surprise! I also like the music for Rito Village in that game. It's an interesting piece to me.
Yes! Rito Village has a beautiful reimagining of the melody from Dragon Roost Island! And the beginning of the piece gives me a sense of elevation, drifting on the wind… The composers writing a motif to share with Rivali’s theme was also genius. I have such love for this soundtrack, and reverence for Koji Kondo paving the way.
Nahre...could you do performances more often? I like this performance. Sure, I like your music theory videos. I would like to see you perform pieces much more. You could perform classical pieces as well as transcriptions of popular songs and theme music, such as what you've done with the Zelda piece.
If any old geezer says video games rot your brain, show them this video. Proud that gaming has the side effect of amazing artists creating wonderful arrangements!
I feel like you absorbed the essence of BotW and Manaoka's intention and took it to unexplored yet familiar terrain, blending it with your own touch. Thank you for sharing this brilliant cover! 💖
This is so magical! Your playing is so inspiring to me, and it makes me want to practice the piano more! Your style so full of character and originality. Thank you for sharing your incredible gift!
Brilliant arrangement and stellar performance!! There's a palpable synergy between your sound and Kataoka's, and it blends extremely well. It's really a joy to listen to your take on this theme 🤍
Beautiful - reminded me of the first time I played this magical game and felt transported to Hyrule right away and it was nice to have your fresh interpretation - good balance of the familiar with new
Wow. That's just all kinds of lovely! Hard to believe it's game music. Not to sound like an old fart (though I am one), but back in the day, video game music was reliably crappy. I guess I have been missing out...
Had to watch again after the more in depth video recently! So good Nahre, so happy to see you diving into video gaming music, there is so much to love!
Gracias por eso tan hermoso y lindo y ejecutado a la perfeccion, es un deleite y un honor escucharte y verte tocar. Eres lo mejor de todo youtube sin dudas, te amo mucho.
I remember in the Ganon Final Form Fight the piano being so intense and thought no way someone could make it more intense until I heard this piece lol nice job!
Absolutely beautiful arrangement! Love how your personal style blends with the unique piano-isms of the BOTW soundtrack :)
Oh hi Carlos
Love YOUR music too Carlos!
1:04 satisfies my brain in a way I can't describe. Just pure skill. Stunning.
Your piano must be so happy to have you as it's pianist :)

❤ Not just covering, but totally rearranging it... this is what true musicianship look like... Awesome work Nahre ❤
This performance definitely deserved a video of its own! Stellar playing and arrangement! Goals!
My ears have been blessed more than ever… Nintendo just hire this talented lady for the next entry in the series…
Nahre plus The Consouls would be great
Why do people say such things? It's supercringey. Can't you just praise her without "They should hire you"?
As a gamer and a classical musician, all my worlds are colliding in this vid! Love it!
This performance could easily became the ending credits song. It's like a movie.

Agree, Nahre should go on tour!!
Attention grabber.... Haha
Brava!
An absolute beautiful and awesome arrangement. Sounds so ethereal yet so energetic and complex at the same time...
Alongside more Nahre music content, cherishing every shot of the duck lamp on the toy piano 🤌

Same.
I picked up an ocarina because of that game.
Thank you for uploading this on it's own, incredible interpretation!!!
I'm so glad she did😊

This video is how I found her and I've watched so much of her other stuff now. Amazing find!

Brought tears to my eyes.
Mystically beautiful.
So good. I loved the transitions from short articulation to wider/expansive parts
I’ve always loved your dynamic sound, and you have such a unique style! This was gorgeous!!! I’m so hyped for when the sequel comes out 🙏

Beautiful! That you had all of that in your head just blows me away - no score needed.
Realized I was holding my breath for like the last 30 seconds. Incredible.
So gorgeous! Would love a Spotify version if possible!
The dynamics are insaneee 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely made my entire day with this one.
Beautiful! It's great to hear the music being performed in such an elegant and innovative way.
If there're seven wonders of the music world then you ought to be amongst them. Numero Uno.
Nahre - That's Wildly Beautiful ...
This touched me. So beautiful, thank you for recording.
this is so cool. This arrangement goes to so many great places-- loved all the different ways the bounciness of the theme could be iterated upon!!
I literally shed a tear
just lovely
Absolutely amazing!
Really keeping me on my toes. Never to familiar never know what’s next but bringing it all together in a magical way that makes sense
I just love SO MUCH hearing you playing. Thanks Nahre
This has to be one of the best shot piano videos I’ve seen on this site. Dynamic cuts and clean shots 👌

love the toy piano in the backdrop, I am totally stealing that lol. Sounds like a Prokofiev version. Brilliant.
I could listen to this all day🤩
Your technique is so perfect for the genre its the best thing ever ❤❤❤
ayy two of my fav genres fused into one: video game BGM and Nahre Sol
If you like jazz and vgm, I highly recommend The Consouls. Their covers are generally instrumental so it’s great for bgm.
@@cooldebt just checked them out, they’re awesome!
I feel like you absorbed the essence of BotW and Manaoka's intention and took it to unexplored yet familiar terrain, blending it with your own touch. Thank you for sharing this brilliant cover! 💖
