  • Prescott National Forest Arizona. Camp Wood Road is a nice drive to and from the mining town of Bagdad. We took the 702 loop (Sheridan) for some extra scenery. It was muddy, there was water and it was super fun! I have BF Goodrich K02s on my Rivian. I didn't air down.

    Where is the secret location?

It’s Prescott National Forest Arizona. There is a dirt road (Camp Wood Road) that goes from Williamson Valley to the Bagdad mine (where there are a couple of places to eat). But along the way there are a lot of trails. The good trail (for a truck) is 702 Sheridan Mountain trail. It goes left off of Camp Wood Road, makes a really beautiful loop and rejoins Camp Wood Road near YOLO ranch. That having been said, there’s an offshoot that is a bit more technical (rocky and narrow gaps between trees) that goes more towards Bagdad too. 702 gets really muddy in one spot and that ends up really rutted. I usually grumble about the people who mud there and leave tracks that last all year but we couldn’t resist being one of them this year.
