I bought one and it arrived last week. Mine is the 1400 spin cold fill version which, I have to say, is excellent. So quiet you may think it's not working at all. It comes with a seven year parts and labour warranty. Worth every penny and I'm so glad I bought it. An amazing machine that's British designed and built.
I bought the 9kg dual fill 4/5/21. To replace a 15kg top loader washing machine. I purchased it through Appliance Electronic. I expected to wait the standard 3 day delivery as I live in Portsmouth but was very happy To be contacted and informed I could have it delivered the following day. Delivery was very good , 2 lads who were very professional in their manner and very respectful of COVID 19 precautions. The machine was easy to install, all tools required and explanations provided to carry out the task. The machine is very quiet, and has been in use several times since installation. We’re still getting use to the programs, as the Top loader we had previously was very simple. Any appliance that comes with a 7 year warranty parts and labour, has to be a good investment. Add to that, MADE IN BRITAIN. It has to be worth it. Chris.Portsmouth
I have two of their dehumidifiers and they are rock solid, had them for five years so I've got every confidence that their washing machines will be very good.
These washers from Ebac are crap, overoriced, cant spin at full speed cos of the dodgy firmware on logic boards, poor build quality, shit aftercare sales team, thick as dogshit, 549 for 9kg cold fill, ripoff, demidufiers are a joke, not reliable at all, poor build quality on washer, avoid this shit like the plague, get a LG or Bosch instead, John Elliott wants sacking for producing shite like this, no wonder which magazine gave it 24% for there washers, if you don't like my comments you can fuck off..
@@Boschwash24 Appreciate your valuable input. Neither like or dislike your comments - so I'll be going nowhere. But you just convinced me from all the hatred inside you to buy an Ebac, thanks Just wondering if you are disgruntled ex employee - but thanks anyway.
I had 2 ebac washers both with serious faults, 1st one had circuit board issues, and a broken front panel, 2nd washer spun for 20 minutes, this was a firmware issue on logic board, asked for replacement washer, staff were very rude, had to wait 3 weeks for a replacement, washer tripped out rcd on wall, that was a electrical fault on washer, got a refund after 4 weeks nagging, please avoid this cowboy company at all costs, got a LG signature washer and its superb, nuff said
I purchased the 8Kg capacity model and it's super quiet. Bought it direct from Ebac and it was £130 less than I would have paid if I'd used Amazon. 7 year warranty too.
@@Boschwash24 Not unusual for British machines to have foreign components. Hotpoint & Hoover front loading automatics of the 70s had mechanical programmers made in the case of Hotpoint by a French company, not sure who made the Hoover machine's programmer. The rest of the machines were, as far as i know, British. A shame that Ebac couldn't have used e.g. a Crompton induction motor; the LG one is probably cheaper.
Good demo. I want a high quality machine based on build quality not smatphone features. I am really interested to buy one of these. My Bosch has not been reliable and it is worn out after 6 years. 10 Year warranty. YES PLEASE
I agree that even on quick washes you should still be able to use the high spin. Unfortunately quite a few manufacturers not just Ebac are limiting the maximum spin speed on quite a few of the shorter programmes.
The machines are manufactured in the UK, and what they want to do is to see how it goes here first. I am sure they will have plans for exporting soon as they have done really well so far.
@@lords-electrical Any updates ? I live in Germany and this looks awesome as an option for a new washing machine. Any chance it ships to Germany ? How does it compare to Miele and Bosch/Siemens washing machines ?
c since making this video we stopped stocking ebac as reliability was not great and the after sales care was not great either. We found most most customers would go for Siemens in that price range as the quality is better too.
@@42Vimto Especially if you live in Germany I would recommend you go for a Miele, they have always been manufactured to last a very long time. My parents and I have both had Miele front loaders for about 14 years (one with the DC main motor with brushes & one with the 3 phase induction main motor) with no probelms at all. I would have a look at Siemens as a second choice. My only problem with Miele is the distribution programme before a spin could be better in my view, other manufacturers possibly do this better.
Is Ebac the only brand that offers hotfill machines now? I have found the coldfill thing very annoying because my space for the washing machine is directly beneath the combi boiler since I planned my kitchen like that so that hot water goes straight into the machine...and then they changed it.
Candy have to be the worst appliance manufacturer available to humanity. My 5 year old machine (it hasn't had intensive use) has conked out - the spider has threaded. I am just about to buy an Ebac machine after watching various reviews on YT.
Does anyone have an issue with the washing programmes taking up to 45 mins longer than indicated on the timer or the machine walking and vibrating on the spin cycle? The washing machine is level and stable on a hard floor .
The main issue with a program taking longer than it initially states is that the load put into the machine is larger than stated for the program. On some programs you can't put a full load into the machine so just check the instructions for each program to see what the max capacity should be for each one. Also check that the load in the machine is quite a good load, if you put too small a load in the machine then it will not be able to balance the load out correctly and can also extend the program time.
Why do machine manufacturers stop you using higher spin speeds on certain programmes. They’re my clothes and I should be able to spin them as fast as I want. This is really annoying.
garbage, i had the 9kg, utter shite, water extraction is crap, spinning at 1400 give 65% moisture content left from clothes, staff at ebac where rude and arrogant , overpriced for what it does, faults start at control panel is glued on, that came off , faulty sump pump, horrible build quality
I have the 8kg hot cold fill it's a nice machine some issues with it, 1. No rear wheels make it a b**ch to get in to a recess, 2. Wash pods tend to fall in to gap between the door glass and the rubber seal, 3. Programs are locked with limited options, so no quick wash with 1600 spin, 4. The kick panel is fiddly to get off. Other than that it's nice and quiet unless your like the Muppet on Amazon who didn't take out the transport bolts before writing a review. Also the made in Britain thing is a stretch it's assembled in Britain but the parts come from all over the world the motor for example is an LG, and the PCB is definitely made in china as well as the LCD display

i wish they put internal sound insolation, when the washer spins it rattles, like a pea in a tin, plus it has 2 shocks instead of 4 why ebac
