    As stated before regarding the roof of the shed, used carpet, or the like, you have said prior that the family wouldn't like the view as you can look down on it, but you could install it on the inside also to assist with the heat.

    13:10 - that Hughes trans-brake setup is what I'm used to seeing. It engages 1st and reverse at the same time until the trans-brake button is released. Then it's just 1st gear and "BAM" - off you go.
    Very nice setup guys - this thing is gonna be stellar.

      Yeah I can't say I've got much confidence for the future when they just snap shut the state. My mate was entered into the Finke race in 2020 and got screwed, now he's been screwed for this year too. If Buzznats happens it'll be awesome!

    INTRO: The clear sheets are actually allowing WAY more heat in through radiation energy ... the solid sheets are hotter but they are blocking radiant heat and only allowing in convectional heat. If you replace the clear sheets with solid then it will be both darker and cooler in the shop. If you want it to be cooler in the shop then you can insulate, shine the outside to reflect radiant heat, get ride of the clear sheets and put in lights and/or put in a fan. What you do NOT see with your temp gun is the heat being let through the clear sheets, warming air and objects in your shop.

    Sorry but that shed will get alot hotter in summer with the clear sheets, greenhouse effect! Clear sheets are physically cooler because they let the heat straight through instead of reflecting/storing. My advice is use white tin sheets with a min 50mm blanket underneath. If you want some natural light just a couple diffused sheets of solar smart suntuf variety. Alot of dirt will get in without a blanket/sisalation. Just my 2c keep up the good work

    • @BroomysGarage
      @BroomysGarage 3 роки тому

      They aren’t clear, they are opaque and have some kind of reflective coating on them. You can physically feel the difference in heat transmission in the lower roof area where these sheets are used Vs colorbond. I have older style clear/tint sheets in another part of the roof and they are worse than all.

    • @pazdawg
      @pazdawg 3 роки тому

      @@BroomysGarage sounds like the sun tuf solar smart sheets I'm talking about. Still strongly recommend a 50mm blanket underneath your colorbond will make a world of difference and stop dirt coming through your joints

    shedinsulationdiy.com/index
    I used a mixture of magnetic strips, high temp tape (single and double sided) and it works mint. Did it by myself, used it on the roof, walls and roller door. We were getting roof temps around the 60degC mark making it around 10+degC above ambient, now it is more like 2-3degC above ambient.

    • @xozindustries7451
      @xozindustries7451 3 роки тому

      @@sexyfacenation it’s like the difference between a close ratio four speed and a wide ratio four speed, it depends on how much RPM drop between gears the motor can overcome, the rear end ratio matter also, but if the first gear is too tall or the rpm drop between gears is too severe the smaller high revving motors can’t overcome it because they don’t have the big torque that the motor had that the TH400 was originally designed for
