Damn... FFX holds a very special place in my heart. My older brother bought it for me on release day for PS2 and I try to replay it every Christmas holiday. Rewatching the movies again in 8k quite literally blew my mind away and gave me day 1 feels. Ridiculous work!
@@Xivurs Yeah like on "PC" ? At that time PC Ports were the worst of the worst. It was cheaper to produce on konsole and even time saving. Thats probably the magic of those games of that era. I kind of get your point. But this isn't Crysis. Nowadays is whole different story.

Hey Upscale thx for this FFX video the cutscenes look great, are you using the PS2 or the new Remaster ones? I think the new ones are more high quality than the originals. FFX is one of my favorite Final Fantasy games, I still love it on my PS2 but even with component cables it doesn't look the best on my 50" TV same thing with my FFX-2 and FFXII oh well LOL they are great games still and one of my fav ones on the PS2. Luckily I can just plug in any of my PS2 CDs into my PC drive and play them in 4K rendering resolution (sometimes only 1080p if badly optimized like Ratchet&Clank etc.) using PCSX2 it's great if I want those HD graphics but I still prefer to play on my old PS2 usually with most games. I like watching this video and muting some of the cutscenes like the Otherworld opening or Yuna's dance "The Sending" and the Kiss scene with Tidus&Yuna at Macalania Lake with "Suteki Da Ne" and playing my FFX OST CD in sync with the video so I get both the great video quality of your video and the great uncompressed CD wav audio from my soundtrack at the same time for maximum fidelity LOL!
