In the current world of crazy high interest rates, there has been a lot of changing of the guards when it comes to what app and bank has been able to offer the best savings rate.
Well, in today’s video, I'll be telling you about a new platform that I found that not just offers one of the highest rates on the market, but it also pays it out in a very unique and exciting way, it’s called PrizePool Stacked.
In this video, I'll dive into what PrizePool Stacked is, how it works, and why it might be the perfect savings account for you. Let’s get started.
    *What is PrizePool Stacked?*
First things first, let's talk about what PrizePool actually is. Essentially, it's a savings account that uses a lottery system to pay out interest to its users. Every time you deposit money into your PrizePool account, you get entered into a weekly drawing for cash prizes. The more you deposit, the more chances you have to win.
PrizePool is free to anyone, but their “Stacked” program has enhanced features and costs just $10.
With the free account, you get 1 ticket for every $ you have deposited, so this means if you have $100 deposited, you would get 700 tickets a week. Also, the free account provides you with a 0.3% savings rate.
But if you decide to pay for PrizePool Stacked, you get an APY of 4.4% on your entire balance, as well as 2 tickets for every dollar deposited.
PrizePool gives out a definite amount of cash prizes each week where users can win up to $500, and once a month, a lucky PrizePooler can win the grand prize of $10,000. These prizes are guaranteed to be given out so there are always winners. There are thousands of of cash prizes given out each month, ranging from $2 to $10,000.
Now, I know what you're thinking - a lottery system to pay out interest? That sounds too good to be true. But rest assured, PrizePool Stacked is FDIC-insured, which means your money is just as safe as it would be in any other savings account.
Plus, the interest rates on PrizePool Stacked are some of the highest on the market - up to 10 times higher than the national average!
    *PrizeWheel*
PrizePool also has a feature called “PrizeWheel” where you can choose to spend your tokens on a spin of the wheel that allows you to win prizes instantly instead of waiting for the weekly lottery to wrap up.
    *The Debit Card*
PrizePool also offers a debit card, that with the free account allows you to earn $100 tickets for every dollar spent, and the Stacked account allows you to earn 200 tickets for every dollar
But if you're someone who wants to earn a high-interest rate on your savings, and also wants a little bit of excitement and the chance to win cash prizes, then PrizePool Stacked might be perfect for you. Plus, it's a great way to save money for a specific goal, like a vacation or a down payment on a house.
    *The Review*
The second update is that they are now launching the ability to try Stacked for free for 14 days. If that isn’t a good enough reason to sign up, I’m not sure what is.
First of all, I want to talk about the app itself, The user interface is super sleek and is definitely better than some of the apps I use with my other credit cards and checking accounts, actually, it’s definitely better. There’s no bugs, and everything is very seamless.
My favorite feature of the app is the main dashboard that shows the current balance, my total winnings, as well as my ROI. This ROI is calculated by taking my total earnings (so drawing prizes, referral bonuses, savings bonuses from the base APY, as well as vault savings bonuses) and dividing it by my average balance since opening the account.
Also, I know I said it earlier, but the fact that Prize Pool can offer all of these features while also being FDIC insured is so important. In the last few months, we’ve seen the need for this, so it’s nice to have that extra layer of safety, which other similar apps can’t necessarily provide.
So with all that said, I do think that Prize Pool stacked is worth it, but as always, I recommend doing your own research. Remember, this video is not financial advice, and is strictly for educational and entertainment purposes.

Thanks for the info. I'd never heard of these kinds of prize winning savings account until about two weeks ago when I saw someone on instagram post about it. I signed up for Yotta and Prize Pool. My plan is to try stacked for two weeks and then cancel...because the paying 10$ sort of doesnt vibe with my free vibe, lol. I'm surprised these arent more popular in the US, planning to discuss these with my fin advisor at our next meeting to hear her thoughts.

Thanks for watching! Yes, definitely a great alternative to traditional savings accounts that most Americans don’t know about!

How do these prize winnings play in when it comes to taxes versus normal interest savings accounts?

Good question. I believe they would be taxed the same.
