You guys are like mad scientist when it comes to rebuilding these trucks I mean you give me goosebumps just watching it. Totally amazing is what you all do. Wow
I have wanted to line-X a truck for the durability. You made it come true and proved it a viable option. Great job fellas. As always, Best Trucks On The Planet!
As always, y'all do a superb job on all of your builds. If I ever hit it big in my business or lottery, Elevation Off Grid will be the first people I contact to celebrate my good fortune. I could care-less about sports cars or luxury sedans. An ultimate 550 build & an ultimate off-road Jeep are my 2 favorite vehicles!
Ok now this guy had the right idea with the LineX. No worries about the paint getting hosed or chipped for your work or recreational truck. The only thing so far I would wish could be done is white lettering for the tires. Did you guys go a little short on that bed?
Look at some old lineX’d tracks cos and you’ll see that they’ve faded and if any rust guys under it, it will flake off like a scab. I wanted to do my F250 but after researching it’s a no go. I’ll just have it repainted
Pretty nice! beautiful, colossal and badass! Part of me has anxiety for this catching the eye of bad actors, and also, changing a tire. Please, some questions: -Does this have the liquid shocks. or did I miss that section? =Also, where is the spare going to go?
Thanks so much! To answer your questions; yes, every truck we build has LiquidSpring suspension. Spare tires are an option with these builds. We have not had anyone with a flat for as long as we’ve built these, although it will likely happen one day. Spare tires can be mounted on the bed, or on a special mount inside the garage of a Bowen Customs bed.
I love that you can put 2000 W to the bed of the truck. That would be awesome if you could do 220 V with 10,000 W so you can hook up a welding machine to a Miller #multimatic215
Hey guys, first of all: I‘m a HUGE fan of your builds ❤ Second of all: You guys do have way too LESS subscribers here on the channel! Especially considering how awesome, beautiful and UNIQUE your builds are! Gosh, I wish I could own such a truck, especially the one you showed us five months ago, the „2023 Rapid Red Black Edition F550“ ❤❤❤ This Rapid Red truck is the exact same spec I would like to order and take delivery by y‘all 🙏 How long is the process of getting a custom built F550 roughly, from the order to taking delivery? And do you guys have a kind of price list or options list where the customer can choose from? 😀 And if you guys do ever need a professional videographer and video editor, I am a professional videographer and video editor for 20 years this year, so it would be my pleasure and honor to work for you/with you, and yes, I‘m serious about that! 👍 All the best, Phil 👋
Thank you very much for the kind words! Current lead time is around 7 months. We go over all desired options once deposit is placed and build reservation is locked in.
@@elevationoffgrid Thx for the quick response 👍 7 months really sounds fair considering the amount of work you put into making these trucks. I‘m only at the 17 minutes mark of this video and maybe I missed it but is the new owner of this truck German?
@@elevationoffgrid Two questions I do have: How high is the deposit I have to place. And are there any green color available for the F-550 trucks? Like „Oxfordgreen“ from BMW or „Jetgreen“ from Porsche? Just a dark(er) green tone would be awesome ❤
is the truck price included in the 230k or is it in the truck price and that for the modifications. do you get the truck from the manufacturer or does the client buy it and drop it off at your warehouse. if my plan goes successful with becoming an architect I hope I will be able to buy it in the next 3-5 years
can i ask what the max width in metric or imperal please ?...asking as uk only allows 100 inch on our roads ....had a ram dually but that was on the limit
I love these trucks. The only thing that turns me off is the front fender flairs. They always seem too big and out too far. I think if they were taken in about an inch and a half to two inches they would look a lot better. I know it’s to have the same stance as the back fenders but it looks unnatural since other trucks with rear fender flairs don’t have the matching front. It just makes it too much in front. That is what I notice in EVERY video. My eyes are drawn to that and I can unsee it.
Very much appreciated! However, bringing the front flares in would result in the tire protruding outside, and the main purpose of the flare is to contain the tire from slinging objects outside of it. We designed these to fit the exact width of the tire, and nothing further. The rear flare is the factory dually flare - we like the look of it, and it perfectly contains the rear tire within the dimensions as well.
@ oh I know it’s to prevent anything from being flung. It just looks like someone is using a smaller tire that should be there with the flare. Almost like if you took a regular truck that needed to have 20 with 265s and put 18s with 255s on there. The flares do sit out further than the tires. I like the look of the tires being out further than the flares. Not by much. But enough to know the tires are wider. Also gives some protection on the trail, if I need to hug close to something. I rather the tire rub it first than any part of the body. It’s a lot easier to replace rubber.
She is Big, Bad and Beautiful. A total work of art. Congrats to the new owner.
Big, bad and beautiful indeed! Thanks so much!
Awesome truck, love the Line-X
Thank you very much! We are very happy with how it came out.

Came out better than expected!

Awesome truck and it was worth the wait
Now, one that is od green! 🔥
Awesome truck
Bed liner is the way to go no one likes washing and waxing a big truck like that. I would like to get one in grizzly brown and black. 😊

Only one size for these beds - standard 8' interior dimensions, 8'4" total length.
Look at some old lineX’d tracks cos and you’ll see that they’ve faded and if any rust guys under it, it will flake off like a scab.
I wanted to do my F250 but after researching it’s a no go. I’ll just have it repainted
Yes please!!! 🎉 #builtnotbought

The Pro Power is a great feature!
20:43 It's strange to find my country's flag (UAE) in the workshop of a foreign channel (I mean you). Anyway, greetings to you all
We have clients and several Black Editions in the UAE. That flag was a gift from a client there
@elevationoffgrid Well I see that, your work is really great and when I have enough money I might ask you to make my own

Is this available in Australia
Absolutely, we have the truck from our previous video on the way there now.
@elevationoffgrid fantastic that must be the white one
Why don't you encapsulate the fuse that keeps blowing in an insulated container?
Sizing up the lines is much more efficient than creating a more bulky obtrusive item to rectify this issue
@elevationoffgrid How much does this Truck cost and do you ship it to Europe?

The Black Edition sits 93” wide.
@@elevationoffgrid thankyou , you might have a incoming export sale
Whats the cost for this build? $150k?
Exhaust is to small for that custom of a truck, eliminating the back seat turn it in a sport truck 2 seater!

What is it? $500,000,00.
