Here in NY State if we didn't ride in the rain or in wet conditions we'd only ride 50% of the time. Love how quick you cleaned off at the end! Some of my best memorable rides have been in the worst conditions! Ride on!
Looks fun to be honest, but here in central Ohio you'll get a whupping if you ride in super muddy conditions. I haven't been on the trails since November because of that. We're having a weird winter where the ground hasn't really frozen yet.
I've seen a lot of comments on youtube criticizing people for riding ebikes on trails when they are wet, but appears water run off erodes the trails quicker than MTB tires.
I rode the local trails today, nope, staying off of it for at least a week to give them a chance to dry off. Too many natural ruts and biking does not help in any way.
With virtuall every MTB group in CA advising all their members to stay off the trails to prevent trail damage during these extremely wet to conditions not only do you and your buddy ride anyway, you post a video of you two rutting up a already jacked trail, way to be that guy. #SMH
I bet the native Americans stayed off the trails when it rained too huh? didn’t let their horses or donkeys carry any firewood to keep their family’s warm in the winters because it ruined the trails. These trails have been here for years hundreds of years they will erode and get rutted but that’s how everything is it’s part of life water erodes and ruts the trails too what are you going to do cancel rain too have you seen the video from Eric porter in Ecuador where the trail was 6 feet deep from natives walking and riding for hundreds of years in the uk and other countries they ride year around in the rain or snow in Mexico it’s the same thing I know from experience they ride their trails in the rain and not just bikes horses donkeys Moro’s atvs they get rutted and muddy but it’s what makes mtbing fun nobody wants a boring smooth trail so stop bitching and stay at home watching more mtbing videos with your mtb group
@@streetbeast7078 WTF, Idigenous people didn’t have horses and donkeys until Europeans showed up genius, and they didn’t need haul supplies in the rain because they spent the dry months preparing for winter. Marin mtbers are on full rage mode watching this video because you’re riding in the rain “ruining” the trails and nature. I got scolded by some middle age guy last week for riding a trail in Marin when it was drizzling and it wasn’t even muddy
That’s an excuse to not ride your bike. Learn to ride ruts not berms. Don’t blowup the spots either. Everyone knows marin is only fire roads and illegal hiking trails.
