For those who didn't follow the race live, go and watch the highlights from cycling dane extra. Yes it's only gran camino, but it was a crazy demonstration of power. He attacked on a short and easy climb, he caught one by one the breakaway riders, attacked again with a masterclass descent to distance Castrillo, and than increased the gap on the flat despite Tarling and other riders pulling behind. He has evolved in an extremely aggressive and versatile rider. Climb, descent, flat, he goes through all terrains with power and technique, like a cyborg.
got a motor
@@birdofprey108 Also called a heart
It helps that he weighs like 18 kilos and half of that are his legs lol
JV is on a training mode...
He is damn strong 😮
I am sorry to say but what kind of highlight video is this? It would be great to see at least the deciding attacks and moments of the race not just only the last 5km uncut. Furthermore, it would also be nice to include the stage results and the overall standing at the end of the video. Already missing the GCN days. They did a fabulous job on that...
It seems they try their best to never show any moments of attack
I wonder if the commentator still thinks Vingegaard isn't to be counted among the best descenders...
He's certainly better than average, but has he ever done something like Mohoric or Pidcock?
I don't remember him ever attacking on a downhill, let alone making a gap there.
@@andrasszabo1570 In the TT in TdF, a lot of the time he made up was from his descending. He went far above 105 km/h downhill on technical descents. He has been impressive in decends before, but he's usually always in the peloton, so it's rare that he has opportunity to show it off. But you can even see when he descends with others that he is far better than them.
@@andrasszabo1570he made time on Pogi and the chasing contenders in stage 5 of the 23 TDF in the descent
@@Soli11+ He was absolutely superb at following pogacar down the descents in the TdF last year.
This guy makes me believe he could win all three GTs in the same year
He has spoken about wanting to try to do that at some point.
Dude, 1 vs 3 and he's still destroying them. That's beautiful
Jonas Vingegard Hansen is the best stage race rider by quite a margin these years.
As a spectator, I gotta admit I do love his bold daredevil riding approach, and not just play it safe.
its such a joy to watch but Jonas also needs to do these wild attacks, as so many other riders are way better finisher and with more explosive body mass.. - Vingegard is under 60kg in season form, so one of the smaller riders..
I find it very impressive to see the momentum he can muster when riding alone for a rider of his size, but also very risky on downhill-stages like these, but that's my cup of tea of a real champ, take chances and not just wait to the last 500meters to drop everybody because your explosiveness is second to none.
I do think Pogacar is in there to ... It's margins that puts them apart .
It will be be a firecracker Tour de France again this year 💪🏼🤞🏼🥳
JV is looking like a freak already geez. Mans on a mission
message from JV is clear, the fight for second place is set, number one is already there at least for this new season.
If Tadej wants to think about the fight with Jonas he should not ride the GdT.
Good Training for JV if he stays on the bike tomorrow 3 win, never lost here🤯
🇩🇰 2024 season look even better than 23 😜🔝❤️
Since Nibali i did not see anybody So powerfull and energic on the bike.
Jonas just seems to be on a training ride
Why not show the descent - it was insane
Jo-Bro is *FLYING!* 🚀
Betting odds for 2024 TDF changed dramatically afterwards. Preferring Pogi instead of Vingegaard now gives you 2,5x higher odds (4:1 vs .1.6:1).
Why is the attack or descent not in the highlights
These are not highlights. They're just showing the last 6 km. I'd rather watch the last km of any race than the full highlights.
@@wickedpawn5437 In most cases that would be fine, but in this race you've got to show the attack and especially the descend. It was breathtaking to watch.
@@wickedpawn5437thats true but I want the highlights released aswell. Want to see how he won the race
Bernal is back?
💪
4 wins 5 podium for jumbo in two days
Jumbo.. :D They have deserted them like rats. TEAM VISMA!
150g of sugar per hour FTW
Just like the rest in top 100
Magic juice working
Especially down hill, must be downhill-juice?
A ganar todo porque es un superdotado
JV missed Pogi 😂😂
he's drinking that weird juice post ride again
Is that why he is a master of descending?

Vingo...

Motor is running
only hope clean guys get their first places and dopers stay out
Unfortunately, Pogacar Evenepoel, Van Der Poel and Roglic will race plenty this year
1998 called, it wants it's comment back.
new lance armstrong!!! He will win the tour again and again and again and again and again!!!
Jonas is a much more complete rider. He also races throughout the whole season from Feb to September/October.
Nop 😂
Already juiced up! 💉 😂
Vingegaard has one of the highest VO2max ever meausered
@@henriksrensen3220 dont bother. Some people are 100% convinced they dope and there is no way to make them think otherwise, because of the past. Riders passed tests back than as well while doped up to the gills.
We can never be sure that riders are clean. Thats the truth, but personally I think most ride clean nowadays. Some exceptions ofcourse.
Just like Pogacar, Van Der Poel, Van Aert, Ayuso, Yates, Evenepoel and all the others in top 100 😂😂 You'll just have to get used to Vingegaard being the best. He will make you cry a lot this season.
You do you, man. But thanks for sharing -- quite bold and honest.
In what, your salty tears? pls making more..!
Funny how stupid people cant comprehend, the people that are making the juice are the closest alley in finding sinners, and which markers to look for an to test for.
Things are way different today then what they were a few decades back, - the timely latitude of cheating "period" are so difficult today, and best case scenario, would be a speculate attempt to peak a certain day or days, its simply not possible to keep "a cheating form" consistent thrueout years of a long season, and certainly not as one of the top riders that are being tested five ways to sunday and not having a red flag in your margins... you need to understand they are getting tested boh in season and off season so a toprider will have their margins plotted to the teeth.
But stupid people will turn the conspiracies bs in lack of context.. nothing new there.
0:45 Jonas Vingegard has been using prohibited substances since 1st. Tour. Same his team among others european riders.
Gonna be a Long year for being butthurt😂😂
@juanfernando4600: you should be sued for slander
where's your evidence?
cycling has become to political and territorial whereby riders dont go for the kill like my boy... lately its about defence and protecting a top ten position.. many team gc leaders are contented to ride just to race to be in the top ten rather than fight and attack to win it all
VEIN-gegaard💪💉🩸💊
