Before his accident Bernal top 3'ed almost every race he'd been in, winning 2 grand tours in the process. I hope he can return to his best form because I know that at his best he can compete with Jonas and Pogacar

Visma Lease a Bike is goingnto be formidable this year, Uijtdebroeks is looking phenomenal, Vinnegaard is a monster...and they still have Sepp Kuss somewhere in the fold. This year's TDF is going to be insanely entertaining
Massive respect to Egan Bernal. To come back from his crash a few years ago and ride as strong as he has is otherworldly. This sport will be the richer with his return to form

Very Eurosport -- here is stage 2 ... nobody was interested in stage 1, right?
Stage 1 didn't count towards GC because of weather conditions, and only a few riders contested the stage win. If I were at Eurosport I would've still uploaded the highlights though.
Stage 1 was neutralized due to high prevailing winds being considered too dangerous for TT and disc wheels so it was road bike ITT no GC times taken for stage one. You would get loads of angry comments like yours if they posted highlights from stage 1.

Yes, too high of prevailing winds for TT bikes and disc wheels. Ride to the end on regular road bike for stage 1 ITT. @@larsh8560

@@Karollenart Perhaps watch reality tv then and not cycling. He is one of the most exciting riders out there, a world of difference between him and boring riders like Froome, Roglic, Wiggins etc.
There is something about Vingegaard that is so dull. I can't put my finger on it but even when he's attacking it seems robotic and uninspring compared to others. Reminds me of peak robotic Froome

I fully agree with this. Compared to his main rival Pogacar he almost comes across as a coward, doing only what he needs in order to win the Tour. Tadej races for fun, pulls at the front, takes chances etc. Jonas is a machine, a very competent machine absolutely, but soul-less.
Quiet/shy, very respective and not your normal “look-at-me-social-media-type” is imo charismatic.
