We discovered this pastry that is unique to the Paris-Brest-Paris event and has it's history closely tied to the founder of the event. Once aware of the delicacy we suddenly found it all along the route from Paris to Brest in various Boulangeries and in the form of Hotels and Restaurants. Great history! Wonderful pastry! In 2015 in Dreux, the penultimate control, I had my first one. In 2023, my goal is to eat these PBP pastires, with strong coffee, much earlier, all along the route. Rocket fuel calories. Thank you for sharing.
