I tried them but there are many primaries which feel a lot better. Pistols are too much cq.
Smg‘s for example are more forgiving and pair better with a sniper rifle.
Thing is, whenever i see pistols in the enemy team they are basically free kills

avexti i know what you mean, but as I said they don‘t feel like they are useful to me. A shotgun is better for close quarter. Heck, even the GoS fusion rifle was fun to use even after the nerf. A pistol was never a problem, except they landed the first shot and caught me off guard or choking
avexti Some are, but not the exotics unfortunately. The 20m Drang is kinda nutty and so are some of the burst fire ones
Kurt Tucholsky when you say pistols you are referring to handcannons right? Mmm I beg to differ, spare rations/beloved is miles better than running any sidearm/smg with a sniper. Granted you are not the all ranges person on your team (if you are go for it), typically done with shotgun mains as teammates. If you know how to space and manage your ranges, team shotting with a hand cannon/sniper in 3v3 scenarios is the way to go. Watch Panduh for reference

Trials is a lot easier than people think, it was never really all that hard. For those who have a hard time getting flawless, all it takes is a ton of team shooting and basic communication.

So do people in trials on PC? just suck? or is there a different atmosphere on PC? Cause on console i NEVER run into someone who isnt looking at me already, and it's mostly all snipers that clean your headoff the moment they see you.
There's just no time to do anything unless you try and outsnipe them but that's real rough to do most of the time
sad thing is i only want the hunter cape from this activity, but it never shows up as the 3 win reward..

im sorry but rat king DOES NOT SUCK. its already a 300 rpm side arm the most consistent frames. once you get 3 people together the rate of fire is increased making it kill EVEN FASTER at that archetype. it may be better on console tho. i also run it with the enhanced scatter projectile mod from the artifact
