Amazing ,i really like you video and i use few of your tricks :) but i think just missing red/pink color on veins , elbrow ,around nibble and hand articulation
I do wish I had glazed on some volupus pink to the more prominent stitched up scars and around scarring where his exhaust and prosthetic leg connect. I might still see if I can because I agree it would add a bit more punch to those details!
Every time I use it it make me so happy because it's so vivid but still fits within the 40k universe really well with all it's grim darkness which I adore!
I've been devouring so many painting videos for Orks! It's always great to see. I'm so excited to be back into Warhammer after all these years and am only finally building that Ork army I always wanted.
Looking at this mini, I may want to get two and convert the White Squig into a really FAT Cold One for a Dark Elf (Druchii) Lord. Just need to cut off those mechanical bitz and then add some forelegs/arms and some Green Stuff scales. Thanks for the inspirations your videos give me. PS - if ya wants yer squig ta go fasta, den ya needz to add some RED, becuz red makes things go FASTA!
When you said "Bits and pieces" in reference to the Orks, was I the only one who began thinking of Oingo Boingo's song "Weird Science"? Seems like an apropos theme song, other than maybe any given Motorhead song for Orks! He looks good, nice work!
I really like your more blue-ish take on the great white color scheme-- the darker upper surfaces really look great and much less anemic than the box art version. On an unrelated note, I found it interesting that you--or your producer-- felt the need to "augment" your chest via Photoshop or whatever for the photo in the teaser slide for this video. Perhaps that gets more clicks?? Maybe people don't notice those kinds of details.....
Ah I see that might be a nice color to add into my rotation as a highlight for some variety...it looks like it will color match Plaguebearers Flesh a bit more!
Really enjoyed watching this squig and I’ve been trying those colours out. I’ve hit a snag with the drakenhoff nightshade drying really quickly in some places and causing mottling or splotches. Should I have diluted it down with (more) water or a medium, or because I’m applying with too small a brush (shade M citadel in this case)? I went back and noticed your shade brush was much bigger…
I would try adding more water next time, because sometimes the dark colors can stain more. If that doesn't improve the flow enough, I have added Contrast Medium to my Shades with excellent results, so maybe try that! Also, yes, use a large brush, you want the bristols of your brush to be saturated with paint, that way it stays wet for as long as possible while you move it around a model. Plus, you can always soak back up any pooling a lot more easily than adding more paint to an already dried section.
@@HobbyNight so you recommend contrast medium over lahmian medium for this approach? I’m only a year into the hobby so still working on techniques and any particularly additives.
I think they are pretty similar so you can really use either. But I use contrast medium because I tend to keep it on hand more than I do Lahmian Medium.
Go for it! If you are just building it to paint and you don't need to worry about rules lawyers be persnickety then why not put a a different ork on his back!
That tumbnail was deceiving ;)
WOW!!! I mean WWWAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHH! These are some mad crazy hobby skills Angela! This one is gorgeous!!!
Thank you! 😆
Thank you so much for putting the names of the paints used in the description video.
You’re welcome!
He is such a fine Model! I really like it. Nice painting.

Best model yet. Great stuff. Your skills are progressing nicely, you will be a Jedi in no time!

Great vid! Keep doing these for us! Thx!
I've seen quite a few Mozrog/Squig paint jobs and yours is by far the best so far. I love your colour style.
Aw thank you! 💜
Definitely straight stealing your paint colors to do mine. I already use your skin color paint combo for all my Orks. Thank you and Awesome job!!
I'm happy to have others using the recipe! Have fun with it!

@@HobbyNight not at all I really like how he has come out and make me thing how I'm going to do mine 😁

Really awesome Job Angela. I am still using your Ork Skin tone recipe for all of my Orks. It really is the best!
Every time I use it it make me so happy because it's so vivid but still fits within the 40k universe really well with all it's grim darkness which I adore!
That turned out fantastic! The great white squig truly looks menacing! May Mozrog bring your army many victories as you smite thy foes in battle!
I really love that skin tone you use on your orks. Looks deadly
Thank you! I love it too! I also like to think they are deadly lads : )
@@HobbyNight sorry. I'm Irish. Means they look great
This is the first video I've seen from your channel, now Subscribed, good job!

Orks are so much fun to paint! I hope you have a blast working on your boyz!
maybe one of your top 5 paintjob so far...
Thanks!
This makes me want to add one to my miniature collection, love your vids.
Thanks for watching!
Looks great
Thanks!
The big cartoony nature of these new ork sculpts really leans themselves to contrast paints
this looks awesome angela!! really like the way this came out, flesh looks great, and base is amazing! base base basee baseee!!
Thank you so much!!
Base base base! lol
The model look amazing! Going to be coming back to this video for how you did the squig for when I need to do monsters I want more pale like this.
I’m super happy with the recipe for this blue white flesh. I plan to use it on some of my board game monster/demon miniatures in the future.
Great job Angela
Thank you!
Is there some photoshoppin in the thumb? 😆
Just a tad.......about 2 cups of "sugar" I would think.....😂
It's been awesome watching your channel and skill grow! Inspiring to watch week to week!
I appreciate that!
Great work Angela, your videos are a pleasure to watch!
Thank you so much!
@@HobbyNight you're so welcome, keep em coming!
It looks great!
IMHO, a zenithal highlighting would have enhanced the overall effect of the squig flesh and the ork. it would pop out more. Still a good paintjob.

Great job, I love it !!
Thank you!
the pastel colour on the squig is the way to go ..
Love the base!
Thank you! I think it blends with what I've been using from Gamer Grass pretty well so I am very happy.
100% recommend using 3m double sided tape to hold your models instead of sticky tack
I think squigs are the perfect subject for themed color variation, kinda like chocobos in Final Fantasy. When do we get to see the KILL RIG SQUIG!?
I'm not running one in my 1000 point list! So not any time soon 😅
I need this model for my Ork collection! I don't care that it's November now. I also collect Tyranids.
Nice video. I just started a 1000 point beast snagga army.
Nice! That's what I am working to build and paint!
Nice one!
Thank you! Cheers!
Outstanding
Thanks!
So good 👏
Thank you!!
i use the same recipe for ork flesh but i dry brush with ogryn camo

Wow. That is one fluffy kitty. (The paint job rocks too.)
Both of my cats are long haired mainecoon mutts. All the fluff!
Fantastic, looks like a fun model to paint. I wanna paint one and Im not a 40k player... can i swap em for a weirdnob perhaps?
Go for it! If you are just building it to paint and you don't need to worry about rules lawyers be persnickety then why not put a a different ork on his back!
Liked and sub'd!
It's such a shame we don't see more painting footage, how about putting yourself in a box in corner talking through footage?
Yummy!
A day without Angela is a day without sunshine.
Love the skin... "Oi fink oi'll loot dat.'
Please do!
this looks fucking fantastic lol
Thanks!
Love the "VOICE" - has it been in Bene Gesserit training?
I'm brand new to Warhammer. Is rimming the base a thing?
if you buy it dinner first
I lubs Angela! 🥰🐶❤️
cool didnt know she had a "horsebite"
not keen on the metal...too sameee and flat ...ork /squig/base is wonderful though
I am stealing the Squig colour scheme. Please forgive me
You may absolutely use it!
The Hottest Miniature painter on youtube
Angy 😘 is great
To be honest I wish there was more painting then talking. Most of the video was just you talking. Interesting pain job though.
Need to work on those gaps though.
Buy a 3D Printer y’all. GW is wack
