Thank you for not only explaining the steps of what you do but also why you do it. Knowing why you choose the methods you use helps a lot with comprehension, at least it does for me. You are known for your retention because you pay attention to detail and dont just rush your clients out of the chair. I have been to many salons that want you in and out in under and hour so they can get another rear end in the chair more quickly but those places eventually get a bad reputation because of the rushed and sub par work. As a client I would much rather pay more for a service that might take longer but have an awsome result than get a discount set that took 45 min, looks like a student did it and comes with a free staph infection....
thank u sm girl! im 16 years old and have been struggling with nail prep since 2021. imma follow ur steps so they stay on longer bc i cant stay having 4 day nails🤣💕
I loved it when people started using the sanding bands and drills instead of regular files. My fingers and cuticles were not getting cut up anymore and it was just such a smooth experience.
Thank you for this sooo helpful ! 🥲 i do have a quick question after the primer do you use bonder or no ? And what sand # and setting do you use while on the nail bed before the tips do avoid heating
New subby 🥰🥰 and ty so much for sharing. Normally I have great retention but I hadn’t done acrylic nails for a few months and the few I did recently had some issues that I never really encounter since I’ve gotten my license and went to nail school. I’m tryna see where I’m messing up. Maybe it’s the back at it again after a break mess ups😅😅 thank goodness they were free sets. But ya girl wanna keep her great rep for retention and foundation. So thankful for your post. Now I know my process was correct and I think I’ve figured out the mistake.🙏🏾🙏🏾💙💙
she applied the OPI dehydrator and has 2 primers. she used the brown bottle primer first then the young nails protein bond primer. i only use young nails protein bond and opi dehydrator. i go once with dehydrator and twice with young nails protein bond primer.
I normally use between 4 and 5 thousand rpms depending on how stubborn the dry skin is for cuticle work. I haven't had problems with friction burns or accidentally cutting someone at that speed. Same for the sanding band on the natural nail. For both, i use almost no pressure. Hope that helps?
