Installing Calvert Leaf Spring Sliders & a TRZ Anti Roll Bar | Part 4 of 4

- This time on SPPTV Rob begins some upgrades to the rear suspension of his Twin Turbo 5.3 LS 1974 Chevrolet Nova. Calvert leaf spring sliders allow more separation between the chassis and the rear axle, which helps to plant the rear tire more providing optimal traction. The TRZ anti roll bar is custom made for the Nova and it's full exhaust setup, and it should prevent any rear steer from happening and flatten out the rear end on launch.

Lefty Tig' Subscribed ! ...i need to practice Big Time !
I got a 67 mustang and my rear is kicked over to the right like maybe 3/8 to a half inch so I think that's just how they made them back in the day you know cars just were built you know it's just I don't think there's anything wrong with the Nova dude I think that's just how they built them back in the day
Buddy I believe I weld the sides on them sliders cause if the car ever sway bad it may break your welds I have a 70 nova am about to put some on my car to your car runs good to
😂😂😂 I massaged it a little
Fresh
Those sliders are supposed to be the way you got it set up with like 3/4 of the way back you know
What bushing did you use for your calvert leaf spring with slider? I'm putting calvert leaf springs on mine and I already have sliders but calvert holes are smaller than stock.
The slider kit came with alum bushings that I pressed into the split monos.
what wdth rim and backspacing tire size you running
You know I got caltracs on my car too I got the whole package the split mono the shocks the Calvert bars but listen I found something Nicole Gap brackets and they're from a guy named Nikki Bobby Incorporated it's Alex Taylor's boyfriend fiance whatever anyway the caltrac bracket that goes underneath the axle where are you bolts are instead of having just that one hole for the bar link and going up to the eye in the front of the leaf spring to have the two well the one that goes to the u-bolts on the axle has four you know on the caltracs Gap bracket when it goes to the u-bolts and has two holes one in the front one in the back for the shocks cuz I don't know if mustang is pin on pin for shocks and I don't know if you if the Nova's and Camaros are 10 on pin but what I did was I sliced off one of the holes for the pin on the shock and welded onto the cat from Nicky babi and that helped because now I have more of a selection now in my bracket that goes under the axle then I have four holes instead of the one I would check that out
