Jerry is my uncle, and having grown up with him in my life, I can tell you that you are absolutely right about this. In person, he is extremely outgoing and larger than life.... but without a single question that man has always been 100% in love with his savior and it showed in everything he did.... even something as simple as a BBQ or hanging out on his back porch, Christ was the center of his life and you could feel his presence is his home. Christ came first in all things with him.

Harvest plays the most heart-felt Christian music of any band I've ever heard. I've seen them live 4-5 times and I think their music is more inspirational and truthful than any other Christian artist I've heard. They could have played to big crowds in big cities but their objective was not to glorify themselves, but to preach the gospel in places it's not readily heard.
I am almost 70 years old - and I listen to Harvest almost on a daily basis - I worship God with their music - Thank you - Guys - how I wish you were together and making Blessed music for us - There's just some people who have an anointing and you you did and you do! I hope you will sing in Heaven for all of us!

I was introduced to this duo back in 1982 in Rockwall, Texas. A church called "Church on the Rock". They came for a concert hosted by the singles ministry. I will never ever forget what I witnessed. During several of their songs, I would look out at the people, and witnessed people with tears flowing down their face. When anyone witnesses this, it is clearly life changing. God's Holy Spirit was all over that building. I will never ever forget that glimpse of heaven on earth. May God bless them.
I was around 42years old when I started to listen to Christian music. I was hungry for a longing to know a peace beyond my understanding.and this was one of the songs that brought me into a true relationship with my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I thought I was a Christian but it was only in words and sitting in a pew. It was only when I came into a true relationship with Him and denied my flesh of the worlds way.Religion is not a relationship.they lead you to think you’re saved but your lost.we are being deceived by the power of attraction, entertainment,prosperity gospel,and a lots of divination in the church today. Wake up church!!Christ is coming for his Bride and He will more than half of us flirting with things that are an abomination to Christ. Pray for the church to be set free and be the bride of Christ.

Then when Jerry Williams was older & on his way to a concert the Doctors called him & said his Mom was on her Death bed & had 2 hours to LIVE, Jerry Williams turned around and Headed to the Hospital and he was 3 hours away, Today His MOM is SAVED Alive and works in HIS Ministry,

Here in 2024. Don't make Christian Worship songs today like when the Lord Sealed me (1979). I guess it's more about talent than Anointing anymore. Twila Paris, Steve Green, Keith Green, The Imperials....... Didn't realize how blessed I was to be exposed to such Ministries at that time. So grateful for God's Faithful Direction apart from any goodness in me 🎉🎉🎉🎉

What church were is it.... I can't believe that I found this .....when I was little my dad would play Harvest on saterday morning to wake my brother and sisters and I up while he made pancakes....I love this song
I use to think this was deep. But the reality is ... Its not. Every single.commandment i keep glorifies God, i am blessed by each commandment i do right. 90 percent of the time or so is just average Goodness. But the goodness counts toward my outward praise. This is still a humble song. And on some level its good too. But i dont have to go out of my way to glorify or praise... Im already naturally doing that
