    Yeah, I was going to ask about air bubbles getting trapped underneath but, even coating them with resign I would think it could still be a problem. I have been thinking about doing this with seashells so, should I be concern about air bubbles being trapped underneath or, if they are not visible and not very big, would it not really be a problem? Thanks.

    You also want to coat the objects with a coat of cured resin, so there's no where for trapped air to escape.
