Looks absolutely breathtaking and looks like a great place to raise kids. It reminds me of Sweden where I live.

Hannah, this was such a nice video. Idaho looks beautiful, and I love the activities you and your family do. Nature, hiking, and just being at peace with family and friends is pure happiness. :)

I absolutely love your videos and how you talk about motherhood in an honest way. I’m a mom to a two year old and I can relate to so much of what you say. The approach of just embracing everything really does make a difference! You end up missing every phase as it passes anyway..so might as well try to enjoy waking up at 3am haha.

We had our babies at the same time, and how you feel about Idaho is how I feel about Oregon. I feel like I missed the summer, but autumn is my favorite season and I’m so excited to get out there and enjoy the beauty with my baby :).

My baby is just now 3 months, so i also definitely missed out on summer, buuuutttt i live in texas, and summer is miserable, so honestly, it was perfect for me. I still got to have my full spring with my 2 year old, and now that my baby is a little older, im excited for autumn!
Also, I totally feel you being in this thick of it in motherhood. For me, toddlerhood is so stinking hard! Trying to be cool, calm, and collected for someone who is an absolute knucklehead is hard sometimes, and then adding a baby who wants boobies all day is a lot. But your words at the end are absolutely 100% true! And it's just a phase of life in motherhood. A phrase that's helping me get through this is
"Just because it's hard, doesn't mean something is wrong." i can't remember who said it. it might have even been you, but it's stuck with me.

Hannah, love the "Joy" song in the background. Trying to find the name of it and lyrics simply to enjoy it. Are you able to share the artist/s? Thanks.

This may sound absolutely crazy but I have to comment on how there are different layers to humanity. I grew up in South africa, lived in the UK and now Peru and only now at 40 am I beginning to see how other humans actually function. You guys are living, not existing. Your friendships are genuine, there is no pretence or competition. You so things I couldn't even imagine doing with the people I am surrounded by. I met someone recently but she left for the UK and I had a glimmer of hope that I could find deep, meaningful friendships with woman who don't want to compete with me. It's sad but culturally it's hard to find people who look like me who want to do better and be better without bringing others down or feeling intimidated. I now live in a world with my kids and husband where we have these experiences youre sharing and I sometimes feel sad because my life is half way done and I've not built these beautiful relationships. Thanks for showing us what real life should look like. This is heaven ❤️

Also live in Boise and just had my first baby in May, and I totally get the not having a summer. Which was so hard because my little family LOVES being outside. But I just think of next year when my daughter is one and all of the things we get to do 😊

I used to feel drained, and a bit like a failure, trying to keep up with home demands in addition to my work, but then I considered this: what if we didn’t do the parenting, housework, cooking, or gardening? What if we hired professionals to all that work? What would that look like? I actually calculated what a reasonable work schedule would look like for each of those jobs (call me weird), and a family with an infant (who requires night feeds) would need three full time nurses. Then, you’d need 1 full time & 1 part time cook (even just cooking simple meals - nothing fancy), 1 full time housekeeper (for a small home - not a mansion), and 1 part time gardener (for a small garden like yours). And that’s not accounting for Sundays/weekends/holidays (many wealthy families will hire separate staff for weekends & holidays). So in essence, you and Mr. McNeely are doing the work of 6+ full time employees, not counting the jobs which bring you income. Of course you feel exhausted! You are working incredibly hard! And doing so with grace, gratitude, and love.

Idaho looks beautiful but the politics are disgusting. They are cruel and oppressive.
