Although this song wasn't a huge hit in the US - #64 on the billboard charts in 1984, it was huge across the world. This song showcases their remarkable sound.
Such a classic from the Scorpions!!! I love this song! So many amazing songs in their collection! If you want a great rocker you should check out Passion Rules the Game!! You two are killing it with all the selections so far! Amazing mix!
For the FIRST power ballad, check out Styx's "Lady". A couple other Styx songs to check out: "Prelude 12/Suite: Madame Blue", "Crystal Ball", "Castle Walls", "Man In The WIlderness", "Queen Of Spades", and "Blue Collar Man".
You really need to listen to the full version. Yes. the voice, the guitars. OMG right before the 5:45 mark you start hearing the tastey licks of gtr, just slight. then right at that mark, the gtrs are what get me. The begging' pleading, weeping... but it's throughout the song. At the end Klaus sing sa "Wooh" a few times, and the guitar comes back in begging, pleading, weeping. It's one of the most wonderful moments in songs.
You should listen to the 70's version of the Scorpions. They changed lead guitarists in 78 or 79, completely changed their sound. Try anything from the "Fly to the Rainbow" album, like Fly People Fly, Far Away, or the title song. Also might try Always Somewhere, In Your Park, The Zoo, Sails of Charon. If you want your mind blown, check out China White with the lyrics!!!! I started listening to them in 82 and experienced all the newer stuff, but I prefer the 70's with Uli Jon Roth on guitar. A true virtuoso.
Check out “Is There Anybody There” from the Scorpions 1979 Lovedrive album. It’s a unique song with amazing lyrics! “Always Somewhere” and “Holiday” are two more great ballads from Lovedrive also.
So nice seeing you two twin brothers doing this together, it reminds me of when I was your age with my twin brother. Sadly he passed in 2021 due to complications from an emergency surgery, I am not saying that to bum anyone out, just to say how much I cherish the memories of the two of us listening to music together and learning new sounds. I remember how I had never heard Bruce Springsteen before and my brother was listening to his album and getting a bit teary eyed by it. So I asked him why and he started the song over and made sure I understood the lyrics as well. I got teary eyed too, lol. But I guess I am just saying that I still struggle with having lost him and after many talks with my mom I have learned that I just have to accept it and just feel him in my heart. I just want to thank you two for sharing your time with us and how much it warmed my heart, instead of feeling sad it really made me feel so good seeing you twins together! Sorry for rambling on, but I just wanted to thank you and explain how much it meant to me, GREAT VIDEO! 🥹💖
If yoi like the 80s style music. Let me introduce you to 2 Japanese bands. Aldious- Sweet Temptation music video And Versailles-Revenat Choir live Think you guys may enjoy these.
Great reaction fellas, such a classic 80’s HS Dance slow song! Next Try the Idol by WASP and DIO Heaven and Hell Live from Philly 1986, possible one of the greatest live performances captured on video.
I love your reaction... Klaus Meine is still today one of the best singers out there! Would you please consider reacting to The Cars / Just what I needed live from The Midnight Special 😊
German rock has had some bangers Scorpions, Alphaville, Rammstein,… I don’t compare a lot of people to queen but if you don’t say scorpions are up there with queen you are definitely deaf. Because vocally it’s absolutely out of this world what Klaus is doing!
This song dropped in 1984...Love at First Sting album!

About that time
Try " we'll burn the sky" from 1977. Both power ballad and rocker
My absolute favourite song from them. Very closedly followed by In Trance. Incredible vocals. Incredible guitars. Incredible everything.
Scorpions SLAY!🦂I saw them in 1988 at Monsters of Rock with Van Halen Dokken and Metallica!🎛🥁🎸🎶🤘😜

A song that builds up. You wanna hear more. Youngsters nowadays want all immediately.
Klaus Meine, Leadsinger, could have been easely been the father of Amy Winehouse.
