10 More Things I Wish I Knew Before Playing Marauders

- Hey there everyone, and welcome to the channel for a quick video going over another set of helpful beginner tips for Marauders, a new low-tech sci-fi extraction shooter that just hit early access this week.
This is a very promising game, so for anyone looking to try it out, here are some tips to get you started!

Biscuit tins contain 9 biscuits, which you can sell for $11 each, ($99) but the unopened tin sells for ~$550. Almost every other crate has more valuable contents except that one, to my knowledge
Ration create is usually only military rations which sell for quite a bit less as well, same for Medical, supply drops are hit and miss but other than that open everything

Little tip, unload guns before selling them. You get the same amount without ammo and can sell the ammo for even more. In your last clip you basically deleted 50 rnds of 7.62

@@Redrum-707 lil tip - thats literally not how that works at all. Anti cheat client side scans your pc, looking for files that modify the game. Server side there is still anticheat, just the game wont fuck with your pc. A lot of games have the option to disable client side anti cheat
Does anti cheat even mess your games up I always thought that was paranoid delusional lol. I’ve got just about every game w anti cheat u can imagine. Even valorant
@@greenburg2276 sometimes anti cheats can conflict. Day 1 of valor any riot vanguard wouldn’t run with easy anti cheat on your pc
Also guys, you might encounter a glitch where you can’t ctrl + left click items to your inventory, you have to drop your bag and pick it back up 💪🙏

Might also press alt. Sometimes I can't loot, but after pressing alt it works.
Easy crafting tip I figured out yesterday: If you’re in need of synthetic scrap, simply buy some of the armours from traders and recycle them. I know the 6b looking (long, light green) armour has a 50% synthetic scrap rate and costs about $1000 to buy one unit of armour. I generated like 30 synthetic scrap from shelling out ~$20k. Not sure how economically viable it is, but it’s useful for the many crafts that require synth. scrap. Cheers guys and happy raiding :)
Sack bags give synth scrap too and only cost $600 iirc
A MASSIVE life savor for me so far has been Captain KeyCard swapping. If you kill someone and take their keycard you can leave at their airlock if you swap out your inslot Cpt Card with yours. Helps you get outta awkward situations of your far away from your spawn. Great video as always
You don't have to keycard swap. As long as it's in your inventory somewhere it works

Mine didn't work like that. I couldn't find my airlock for my first ever game and the airlock I was at wouldn't open until I manually swapped cpt cards.
Tip for some of the more frequent glitches I've encountered. If you are unable to pull out a weapon even if it's equipped you have to drop and then pick it back up. Same goes for when the gun is invisible in your hands. Remember the call outs with the function keys so you can identify yourself with your friends with a "fuck you" callout or whatever fits best to avoid accidental friendly fire.
Something I've noticed is that ration crates themselves are worth more than the contents within. So if you're short on money and have plenty of heals, sell them instead of opening them.
Learned tip #7 the first time my airlock door ever opened actually. Heck of an introduction LMFAO

Don't fill up your stash with small containers. Get a couple sure. However just be aware that the Compact Container is a quest reward you get a couple times the further you progress. It takes up a bit more space in your stash than the small container but holds way more. Make sure your stash has that room for them.
Large containers are much better than compact containers and don't require multiple RNG merchant ships to show up.

what space did you need for that container ? i finish this quest but my inventory is full of small container full of shit ^^
@@Galipheo The merchant ship is more common than people think. It spawns a lot of times very hidden at the bottom of the map. Several times a night my squad gets it all to ourselves.
more quick hotkey things and tips i didn't mention in your previous video's comments which are useful:
quick dropping hotkey: (only works on your inventory not loot inventory) - alt+left click
to quick drop, useful for dropping multiple times to loot a bigger item or quick dropping items for your friends/
on that note for friends
splitting stacks, helps with dropping for friends again: start the drag item process, then hold CTRL (control key), then let go of the drag process while holding, then the split stack option appears.
Depots are the only spot for finding nuclear material, you will need for a core quest for zero to hero.
You can find nuclear material in other places also, for instance the hidden stash on space port usually always has one
I hate that. I mean, this was obviously inspired by Tarkov. Making the "equip to body" hotkey, the "discard" key almost feels like trolling lmao

My bud and I just do vault runs now that we know where they all are. At least 60k for each of us in a full run, usually more.
People coming out of your airlock is certainly a bug, after they come out of the same airlock the keycards become blank and you can't use them to open the airlock anymore, so you better go to an escape pod or loot a keycard that is not blank and look for their airlock.
had that happen once it was hilarious . my buddies were like uhhhh behind us uhhhhh our airlock
omg, so THAT'S what happened to me the other day. My 2nd day playing, and, I killed a duo of chads who killed my 2 friends, and my friend's captain card glitched and went blank. I ran around the entire place multiple times (felt like a maze) and couldn't find a pod, by some miracle, I found a dead body that happened to have a keycard that opened a nearby airlock with 1:55 left, ended up making it out with ~40secs left gift or take, was by far one of the most intense gaming experiences I've ever had. Killed 15 enemies total, 3 people and 12 a.i. with the uzi with wood stock, not even suppressor or extended mag, I really like it now.
I’ve heard that dropping the key card on the ground and picking it up will help and let you back into your airlock.
Learned that after I wasn’t able to extract twice because of this bug
ahh interesting, just got the game and had my keycard go blank. some one was talking about how some maps only have 4 air locks and 6 players, which means there has to be shared air locks, which also make sense because I beelined it to the lock at the start and when I got in it kept telling me the "air lock is being used" for about 30 seconds before I was able to leave my ship and when I did there were two geared marauders standing there and murdered me.
That's 1st tip is literally a life saver. Thanks
I'd love to see a tiered loadouts video like you do with tarkov for marauders. Still trying to find my way around what to bring that'll get the job done without trowing away my stache for it. Love the work buddy keep it up.

I see another thing u dont know, last sec of the video u sell an mg 42 with 50 rounds in it for 9k, if u take the ammo out u get 5k worth of ammo extra
also there seems to be a bug right now where if you pick up a backpack that is folded as your equipped backpack you cannot auto loot things unless you unfold the backpack and then drop it and pick it up again.
Bug still exists. 50/50 fix
another one: dont forget to empty ammo from guns before selling them. they dont sell for more with the ammo in them

Yea so i know some things myself as if you are with a friend and he suddenly had a game crash or lost connection to the game make sure you kill him so you can get the gear he had and that is if he had anything woth takin . Sometimes it can happen to you or to your friend that he spawned in the ship without any gear on him and if you kill him you will be able to take the gear and just head out from the mission and give the stuff back . Another one is the crates , large crates are the only ones woth having and you should keep up to 8 crates and not more so that you can still have some spare room for other things like buying armour as armour with pouches dont fit inside a crate.

I've found that it doesn't want to stand items with control right click if the stuck is in your rig but the backpack works fine

Could you give me tips on how to get better/practice Marauder’s PVP? I’m relatively shit at recoil control, haven’t gotten a single player kill and am too jumpy/easily frightened for my own good

5:06 Im guna have to hard disagree on your point with prison AI. Those shotguns they get are no joke, if you carelessly turn a corner not paying attention. They have fully 1 shot my teammates and chunked me for over half my hp multiple times.
yeah me and my buddies have lost many a kit over the past few days to those asshole with the sawed off. they can still 2 shot you even in panzer.
they come out of nowhere and just one shot me from behind or something most of the time lol.. even if I have good armor on

DONT BUILD SMALL CONTAINERS FOR STASH! If you make light bags, you get over 3x the storage space as the bag takes up, with the small storage, you only get 2x the space that it takes up, and it requires much more to craft.
do tell how a light bag is gonna help hold my 3 extra BARs, flamethrower, 2 SVTs etc etc...
it might be good for small stuff but you can get all you need for a small container in one raid and maybe 2 raids for a large container if you just go for that type of loot
The way it is now they both take 9 slots but the bag gives 4x5 slots and the small container is 6x6

any AI with shotguns will mess your day up even from range, I died with my panzer rig from 2 shots of a sawed off from range
Keep a stack of 8 copper coins to finish a contract that requieres them
Will crafting items stay there for ever if you don't collect them? Might be a good way to free up Stash space if so

Nooo you sold the mg with 50 shots of 7.62 inside. That ammo is rare. Make sure to empty ammo before vendoring. It can be sold seperately for more profit.

Go in with no gun and there will be a pistol inside your ship
you have a free gun and ammo in your ship.
you have a pistol and 4 inventory slots, good luck!
If you want quick easy cash, spawn in with nothing, pick up the free stuff and two fire extinguishers, and put the captains keycard in your inventory and extract. Easy $3K. Or use the pistol to kill some AI, it’s so easy to get gear.
Yeah, if you spawn in with nothing there's a table with a pistol and bag, plus ammo. You can extract or, just head into the map and rat it up
As soon as I find a MG42, G and S Coins, or Warbonds I instantly extract.
nah dawg, you gotta get 3 books and a few coins a raid before extracting. all or nothing. MG42 is good to sell, i wouldnt recommend using it or keeping it. good luck to you maan
I wish I knew that you can't change the fov and ultrawide isn't supported (it gets stretched). I had to refund the game.
i read someowhere there is a fix did you do any research
@@ImNera I tried looking up on the Steam forums and everyone else who had a 21:9 had the same issue. I'm pretty sure I can change the fov in the ini files, but won't let me play the game online do to a modification in the settings. Regardless, it's a pretty strange decision to opt out of an fov setting.
The next update they are rolling out will have an FOV slider

Here is a tip. save your money and get a good game, this game is loaded with hacks and campers who spawn kill... if they add coop vs AI then it might make it past early release but as it is now, I personally think this game will die before it even gets out of early access ... right now only about 700 players left..

Without your tip im actually doing better than you jus say. Im lvl 19 with over 500 grand nothing more than that. So idk maybe jus stick to the cheap stuff an get head shots than your all good

I hate tarkov too, haven’t played in months but tarkov is superior unfortunately… the genre is just getting stale
