Hey i still struggling with it, i spent money on the chauvet dj an2 but i still cant get it to work, i believe the only place where i miss is where you get the Network Interface Card IP Address from in the project settings.
@@XMNF So you need your computer and the Chauvet to be on the same network. 1) Have you accessed the Chauvet web gui and setup the network either to DHCP or a static ip? 2) Take that IP and make sure your computer is on the same network. For example if your Chauvet is 192.168.0.10 your computer should also have a Network Interface that is on 192.168.0.X. Otherwise they won’t be able to talk to each other. Hopefully I understood your question correctly. Let me know if that helps!
Thanks for watching and great suggestion! I have not tried that yet, but I have seen some other tutorials do that with the chamsys software. I will post a video if I get around to trying that out. Thanks again!
Hi I have problem to connect UE with the dmx controller so the light won't light up. But the light simulation is working just fine, I am not sure what's the problem
Hello, thanks for watching. First thing I would check is if the DMX channel monitor shows activity on the output from unreal engine. I use this in the video around 7:07. This will confirm that your scene is actually transmitting some DMX data out from the engine.

Great help, thanks . I was wondering if you could make a tutorial with the same concept but using MagicQ chamsys software to control the lighting.
