may work for a small video seen in a phone but that's it. you have to fix those blendings manually

This is why Hollywood uses a green screen whenever wires are used. That way you don’t have to blend anything when you remove the rope. They put the background in afterwards.

I removed the wire as in the video, but can still see the distortion for where the wire was. Any advice??

Hey! Will fantastic video. Please tell me i can do the following with this stunning effect: I've been trawling the internet for 2 days trying to find a solution to my problem. I have a video tranfer of old cine film it has a continuous vertical line runnig throught it, thinner than your wire, it obviuosly is a scratch on original footage.
