A good friend of mine is chronically ill and house-bound. She "saves up" Itchy Boots videos to watch when she is feeling particularly bad because Noraly just makes her feel happy, with her smile and optimism and joy.
That so cool , sorry for your friend ❤️😀
ITCHY BOOTS IS A MC HEALER 🥊
I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I can understand how watching Noraly makes her feel better though. Noraly is a force of nature. I find myself grinning just watching or hearing her. My motorcycle days are long behind me but I can live them again vicariously through her adventures. She's braver than I ever was.
This woman knows the meaning of "Living life to the fullest".
You have the most practical motorcycle in the world, almost 1 million people sat on the bike with you throughout your journeys.
As a South African motor cycle rider, I’m loving your trip and have done so many of the routes myself. I’m impressed and proud of you for tackling such a trip on your own! Well done !
Greame, if you don't mind. Where are you from?
As a South African I can say that it is Awesome that you are showing our Beautiful country off to the rest of the world. We are Blessed with the Beauty here.Awesome videos and content.Much love from a South African Biker.
From Canada🇨🇦 here. I am just watching Noraly's S. Africa season 5 videos and am up this episode 7 now. I can see why so many people are in love with your beautiful country. I have worked with many S. Africans here in Canada and they all told me that I should go to visit. (They also warned me the Tokoloshe, hahaha.) After seeing these videos, I just might do that next year.
I have to admit: I underestimated the beauty of South Africa! Because of you this country is now on my bucket list.
You are truly the ambassador of the world.
Noraly has not even scratched the surface of our beloved country. wait till she hits garden route to cape....it is jaw dropping
I never expected what I'm seeing of this country: much greener and mountainous. I expected a barren, dusty desert, and was completely wrong!
Completely agree with you 👍
@@zunaidkajee4540 WOW!!! That sounds fantastic!
Awesome place
Your comment about not being around in 1986 suddenly made me feel very old :-)
My bike from 1986 doesn't feel old, just mature ... vintage 😊🇳🇱
@@Plons0Nard My oldest motorcycle is a ‘96, but I definitely fit the “mature” category. Lol
Me too ... I went to that very pancake bar on my motorbike in 1988. ( my first long ride fresh out of school) It is an SA institution for a very good reason.
I left college in 57 and gave up sadly my BSA 650 in 68 when son was born so I feel extra old
Same here
All I can say about Itchy Boots is that she is one hell of a lady not even men have the Guts and balls to do what she does. Even the men at some of these borders they are just totally blown away by her demeanor and brave attitude and why not? I love Itchy Boots to the max and there are times when she does some riding that is so treacherous that I can't even watch the screen. Unbelievable! And by the way she is a great rider no doubt about that. All the best to her and continue to be safe. I thank all these folks who in some little way have helped her. Very nice of them and they should be commended.
My 8 year old and her friends play “itchy boots”. They get on their bikes and make believe they are travelling around the world instead of just around the neighborhood. Lol
I love it, taking my 🏇 and racing through the waves, nearby, started me, OK no saddle, and a few gates to hop over, no problem. 😂
Best channel on UA-cam by a mile and I’m 46.
@@professorvoluck9311 Hi Prof, you're in good company, I have a hat with that number 😷, tell the little girls to check out Rachel Blackmore 💪
@@professorvoluck9311 best channel to me too and yes 46 here as well !
This comment made my day… well, actually my week! If ever there was a meaningful endorsement of Noraly’s channel, it is the fact that she inspires kids in such a positive way. Bravo!
I am rewatching the Africa series and i just have to comment my heartfelt thanks for your timing of this season and the destinations. In February my father passed away, he was born in Portugal, grew up i Hwange near Victoria Falls, moved and lived in South Africa until six years ago we he came to live with us in Australia. Every episode helped me heal, family places and memories helped so much you have no idea. Now that i am watching again i am seeing it differently and with a more excited and happy heart. Thank you Noraly 😊
It’s hard to convey the beauty of South Africa. Once You have been to Africa, it’s part of you for life.
The countryside you’ve been riding through is what very few tourists to SA ever see. Your image stabilized cameras work magnificently on those rocky dirt roads. Great trip so far. 👍
Forget tourists.... as a local, I never dared ride so remotely alone....
Horrible storied and fear keep so many locked in their homes...
Respect to Noraly for showing what a fool in was....
Who is with me in hitting the like button before watching? 😀😀

I usually go to sleep by 9:00 p.m. USA time it's already 12:45 am I'm still watching your videos I just can't help myself. First thing tomorrow morning while I'm having my coffee check up on your videos again thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the joy that you bring to us people that watch you on UA-cam. If anybody agrees with me vote for Nora woman of the year
I know Harrie Siertsema for 53 yrs. His great grandpa was Dutch teacher still with the ZAR Christian National Education. He taught outside Lijdenburg at farm school Krugerspost. Harrie studied Architecture then joined SAA in the good days as steward. Then he wanted to do something different. I remembered his Mom crying out that a man with such qualification and experience baking pan cakes for a living. I enjoy your show. Erg leuk.
Blue eyes, smile, laughter and the open road. Noraly at her best. Joy to the world. 🌹
that's a decent sum-up actually
I think she wear blue contact lenses.
YEAH!!! At 19:00 Noraly's drone returns! The best videographer with a drone on UA-cam! Seeing all the "greenery" of the grass is almost as uplifting as Noraly's personality. For non motorcycle riding viewers, that Noraly can ride on a rock road with one hand while using the selfie stick is nothing short of amazing!
Love your videos ❤️❤️❤️
Woooow the Natur 😍😍
Incredible Mountains...all done by mother nature!!!! Sight to behold...can't stop starring at them! oh! and nice pancakes too!!!
Ho Noyaly Noraly , no sabes cuanto disfruto tus videos , e incluso vivo tus videos , gracias por tan bellos momentos ,saludos 🌹🌹🌹👍🍀🇲🇽
Great content. Who needs Netflix!
You've inspired myself and a friend, both aged 67 to go adventure riding again. Loving this series, thanks so much. I tell all my friends about this mad Dutch girl.
People always tell me that they want to travel the world. I just want to travel my country South Arica. We have all 4 different seasons and they all flip around during the year. This means when you go back to an area you already visited, it will look different.
Noraly's theme, "... but time to move on". Love your spirit!

This is absolutely my favorite UA-cam channel to watch, between all the beautiful places, and scenery you take us to, and your magnetic personality, I love watching each new adventure you take!
I've been riding through SA and Namibia and I can assure you they have the best gravel roads in n the world that I have ever seen.
So stunning watching this. I'm a South African living in Cape Town, but grew up in Pretoria, so we would go on holiday or hiking trails in Limpopo or the Low Veld (Mpumalanga province where she is now) in the eighties. Now that part of the country is just too far for me to visit again, I've spent the last 28 years living and exploring the Eastern and Western Cape. Watching these videos almost feels like visiting another country for me! Rediscovering my own beautiful land thanks to this brave tourist. 🙏💚
The way you navigating it's like you've been there before, I love it..................
Hands down, this is in the top 3 vlogs on UA-cam. Thank you so much Noraly, esp. for the drone footage.
What an awesome place to ride!
Oh yes😀😍😍😍
oh yeah
Very nice video! Good luck😀
Look who popped up here
You all probably dont care at all but does any of you know a tool to get back into an Instagram account??
I was stupid lost the account password. I would love any tricks you can give me.
There she is!! Up bright and early ready to hit the road after a water adventure. Just amazed how lush and green everything is. Always sensational letting the drone out of the bag scooping the skies examing the fascinating rock formation and the second sky flight hoovering over the vast countryside. Again most enjoyable the hand held camera shots both front and back, the animals off the road and experiencing your pleasure getting on with the dirt roads. You're going to leave a trade mark in South Africa waving to everyone you see. Love ut... Thank you for another adventure in the unknown parts of South Africa ...
Good morning Noraly net, always keen to see your next adventure 😎👍🏽
you are best Noralyy 🏍🤗✌ 🏍🤗✌
Noraly, I know I’m older than you, not much, just a few years. But when you are literally in the middle of Timbuktu, my heart just drops, and go into “mother” mode! I worry the entire time you are by yourself, hoping nothing happens to you! Loving this trip and the scenery!,,,😦😦😦😦😬😬😬😬😂😂😂😂🥰🥰🥰🥰💚💚💚
YOUR CHOICE OF MUSIC IS AS ALWAYS SPOT ON.!! So glad you are back....my armchair travels resume. thank you
Just for the non South Africans Biltong is dry cured meat. It could be anything, most common beef meat, or kudu / game, ( any buck) or chicken or ostrich ( the healthier version) they are all my favorites. Then you also get dry cured boerewors. 👍 Funny how most South Africans will go abroad for holiday while we actually have the most beautiful country under our nose. Noraly is probably being our best ambassador at the moment. While our minister of tourism has probably never been off the N1, N2 or N3 freeways.
Agreed I, make my Own Biltong in England useing Beef or Venison, also make Chilli Bites 😊
I make Dorwores also
In North America its called pemmican, or more commonly jerky........quite popular! Great for hunters, backpackers, & of course, bikers!
@@jamesvandemark2086 not the same Jerky is smoked, Biltong is dried.
@@llewellynlamb9545 Thanks!
That small Honda was the perfect choice.
Your kidding 500cc is just not enough power, you could hear the engine revving at 5 - 6 thousand rpm and then gearing down and having nothing in reserve, maybe it was the best choice for her budget, but not the best choice for the touring
@@gregt7927 It's a 250cc

Thought you were in New York for a second with those potholes! Great to see they are repairing the roads. Safe travels!
The lack of ego is what I love with this channel. Best of luck
I have been following her adventures since season one. She is a very humble person.
Indeed, very refreshing. She just do her things and take us with her.
"Let's go!" twice in one video! That's a treat. Of all the great adjectives one can use about Noraly, "guileless" came to mind today. What you see is what you get; she is completely genuine and without deceit. I think the people she meets recognize that about her rather quickly.
Thanks Noraly for showing me another place I would otherwise probably never see.
Robisz świetne filmy. Uwielbiam je oglądać, te piękne widoki i Twój uśmiech. Pozdrawiam motocyklista Tomek
This drone technology is probably the best invention yet. Having a camera attached to it is even more incredible....that is the best idea to have brought it along on your journeys....it could also help you out in bushy situations where you have no idea where you are and then you can have an aireal view to make your next move from the view you have of the drone footage even from the area where you stay at. Then it will give you a pretty good perception where you at
The idea that long bike trips can be made on big bikes alone stands shattered here
Agreed
Listen to all of the Juluka albums turned up to 11 as you ride. The memory will stay in your head for the rest of your life as it has for me 😊
Totally agree. Johnny was the heart and soul of SA
@@leonardolupini3484 Absolutely, I defy anyone to ride through scenery like that with 'Great Heart' playing loudly and not get all teary & choked up.
It will stay in your head & heart forever.
Itchy Boots, I think you found biker heaven, the sceneries, the roads, loving your adventures!
I feel bad a girl from Netherlands is exploring my country more than I have. Born and raised in SA.
A big thumbs up 👍
Anyone else dying to turn off the high beam so that blue light in the dash just goes green?
Daytime off road and all that....
Beautiful stunning scenery and fantastic to see the real adventure beginning. Welcome back Noraly good to see you in the wilds properly again 😊
She really loves the high beam! 😂 One of the first things I check for with a new video, is it on?
@@RenedeWit77 She was told at the bike shop there in SA to just leave the Hi Beams on for the highest visibility. I always rode with my Hi Beam on even in daytime on my '11 V Strom DL650. I just preferred the look of the dual headlights on. And for safety reasons too. Although off road where Noraly goes....not alot of cross traffic to worry about. Maybe a wild animal or two.
Noraly, your videos are superb! Your editing is so good, as is your choice of music for the African bush! I watch all your videos from start to finish, and never get bored. Stay safe, and keep smiling!
Amazing roads, amazing scenery and amazingly friendly people. Your changing my misconceptions of South Africa!
Cup of tea and a slice of Birthday cake, the latest Noraly video. Great way to end the day!!

I guess its evening now in South Africa 😅
You make me miss my country so much, have been living abroad for the last ten years. 🥰
Wow! Another great video. My friends from Kenya never explained how beautiful Southern Africa is. British Columbia, in Canada where I live, is always considered beautiful, but this video was spectacular. As a road rider, your speed over those dirt roads is scary, and Ive got a decades on "big fast bikes", but your riding is thrilling. Be safe, I love your channel.
Kenya is in East Africa. South Africa is in Southern Africa. The two countries are miles apart
Kenya is nearly halfway across Africa from South Africa. About 3400 miles North-East of SA.
Im glad you enjoyed limpopo & noticed that you were comfortable and even wasn't using ur GPS bt figuring the road by urself 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Awesome 😎 I’m ready for the next part 🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏴
... and I reckon she’s hit on the perfect little machine for her type of motorcycle touring (and filming). I once (in 1978) bicycled through your beautiful country (the land of my forebears) .... and it took a lot longer than it would her on her Honda. (From SW Australia)
When I was a UN-soldier in Bosnia I sometimes went to the Dutch battalion for a coffee and a stroopwafel. The closest to a pancake at that time.😊
I'm your top fan and never missed an episode, watched Chile series twice. But I'm missing out a lot nowadays cos Military Coup is happening in my country and many civilians are shot and killed. I pray there will be new days when peace is restored and I can binge watch your solo adventures. You are my big inspiration.
Amazing love the new sat-Nav looks great 👍 and the pot holes here in Wiltshire UK are almost as bad as yours at the mo 😂
