- We head out in search of the Moto Mushers Cabin in Hatcher Pass but fail to make it beyond the river crossing. We still managed to have a great day and end up in the middle of nowhere!

Wow you guys, that was awesome. My wife and I really enjoyed watching. Between you guys and the My Alaska Dream youTube channel, we get to experience the beauty of Alaska. The drone footage was spectacular and the music choices were perfect.

I love the music on this one...that and the drone footage, so beautiful. Hope doggos paw paw feels better now. I had a doggo a long time ago. The du-claw, I believe that's how you spell it it's like a extra claw up from the paw on the dogs leg. Anyway my dog had sort of long fur she never liked her legs brushed and I found out why. That extra claw curled and grew into the dogs leg. Surgical removal was necessary. Ohhh I felt like such a bad dog parent. I got her when she was 2 the Vet checked her out, shots, heartworm, flea prevention, dental cleanings, she hid the pain well until she just wouldn't get up and I found spots of blood on her bedding. She lived to be a good old age, died in her sleep. Being a doggo Mom and Dad is hard sometimes. 😊

I was just thinking about booties for the dogs and then, we had a bleeder. Are you guys going to double down and get a snow machine this year?
We have been looking at snowmachines, although there hasn't been much snow...yet. We have never had a problem with our dog's paws getting cut in the ice, poor little fella ripped a toe nail too :(
Ouch that sucks. Poor baby. My dog cuts his pads every winter. Especially on ice or hard packed snow. The soft stuff (POW POW) he doesn’t have a problem with.

Not knowing the drones rànge, could you have sent it up the alternate trail, or was the river crossing the deciding factor?
Tracey Osborn, we did send the drone up a little further, we are actually planning to go back to this trail soon! At the time that river wasn't frozen enough for our comfort level so we opted to head back. We have the dji spark which we rarely take out what I would call far less than a quarter mile from us but it can go further.
