    Just got my Bodnik Longbow. Silky smooth, extremely quiet, and amazingly accurate. I've been shooting my whole life, and of all the recurves and longbows I've owned, it's my favorite. Thank you for the wunderbar bow.

    Took my new Bodnik Longbow out to the range for the first time today. Very pleased with how it shoots. Shouldn't be surprised, I've had the same experience with all of my other Bodnik bows (Quick Stick, Redman, Slick Stick, Mohawk Chief, and Mohawk Hunter). Keep up the good work Henry.

Smooth,hand shock free and so accurate !!! As a matter of fact i just donated my Bear and Striker longbows to a local archery club and Junior programs as your bows are easily a cut above all the rest!! Thank You

    You forgot to mention the sight window shape, it fades gradually - and has not distinct edge at the top. Quite a few federations require this.

    Hi Henry I loved the video and read the comments and noted the one from Bow Hunter . Its sounds like he has the same model of bodnik Longbow that I have , and love by the way, mine doesn't have the micata strip or the maple accents , my accents seem to be bamboo. and mine has bamboo core with clear glass applied over it without the alder laminate serial no KA30AOA74 . I purchased mine when they first came out , so it sounds to me that Bow Hunter has one of the earlier Bodnik like mine. Its a great bow to shoot and I enjoy it so much that I was inspired to buy a Bodnik Quick Stick as well . I would be interested to know if I am correct about mine being an earlier model .

    • @henrybodnik-archeryandadve2111
      @henrybodnik-archeryandadve2111  5 років тому

      Sounds to me funny
      Even the serial no is no combination we are using during the last years.
      Accent strips are always with Mycarta in the center and maple or bamboo beside.
      🤔
      Like to see a pic if possible
      Also from the description at the bow

      @garywatling6770 5 років тому +2

      I think what I thought were A’s in the serial number were 1’s so the serial No would be K 18010174 the writing on the limb says Bodnik Bows Bodnik Longbow 66” 40# @ 28” hope that sounds better I’ll add some pics as soon as I figure out how to do it

    It’s a nice bow, and I’m thinking about getting one, however I’m not sure it qualifies as a longbow under Archery GB rules as it’s got a shelf and doesn’t have a D shape limb, like an English longbow 🤷‍♂️

    Hello Henry . First off let me say those are beautiful bows.i am a beginner and watched a lot of vids on here . A lot of people say if the bow leans to the right the arrow will go right and same for the left ? But I see you lean yours to the right and are still accurate ?

    • @henrybodnik-archeryandadve2111
      @henrybodnik-archeryandadve2111  4 роки тому +1

      Yes of course!
      To cant the bow will not effect the point you will hit for an instinctive archer. Of course if they are right if they are using an aiming system like string walking or Gap.
      For instinctive archers and bowhunters it’s helping to have a clear view and to take the bow aside the animal in your view.

    Ist der Longbow eine Alternative zum vielgepriesenen Shrew- Bow , wenn man jetzt nicht nur Recurve schießen will, was Schußruhe und unkomplizierte Handhabung betrifft? Will heißen: warten bis der Shrew auf den Deutschen Markt kommt oder ganz ausgezeichnet mit dem Longbow glücklich werden und den Hybriden vergessen. Bin übrigens schon sehr happy mit einem Smoked Amber. Wenn man nur nicht irgendwann immer an Seitensprünge denken würde, ... wenn schon nicht in der Familie dann doch beim Freizeitvergnügen. Sehr interessante Videos und auch nett gemacht, Danke dafür.

    • @henrybodnik-archeryandadve2111
      @henrybodnik-archeryandadve2111  5 років тому

      Ganz ehrlich!
      Der Bodnik Longbow ist für einen klassischen Langbogen ein starker Bogen.
      Der Shrewbow ist aber eine ganz andere Liga hinsichtlich Leistung, Handling und Schusskomfort.
      Ist ja auch ein Hybrid. Zudem noch der Shrew Bow von Ron LaClair!
