This is just perfectly timed with Chuggaaconroy replaying EarthBound and NicoB finishing Mother 3, and it’s really the best Mother song anyone could choose out of the entire soundtrack to make an arrangement of...that is, if they could only choose one song. And you blew us all out of the water. Carlos, your seemingly nigh-omnipotent musical talent (from my point of view, at least) strikes once again, and gets straight to the heart with this. Picking September as an inspiration was a really great idea, it captures simple joys really well. I’m awed by how you can coordinate all these elements together into these arrangements time and time again and still keep topping yourself. And, well, as Jules already said, COWBELL HERO. With the less appreciated TAMBOURINE HERO to come on top of that. And really, you just come off as so happy doing those things, and it makes me smile. Jules, your guitar was probably the best choice Carlos could make to fill the melodic instrument for most of the instrumental breaks in this song, barring that big one near the end and the one that builds up to the last few words. And you did it so excellently. Never thought an electric guitar could give me a sense of wholesome happiness before. Thank you. Adriana. I used to listen to this an awful lot when I was younger. Now relistening to this I am starting to love it more than ever, mainly because of Jules' guitar sound having a striking resembling sound to Brian May's guitar.
Honestly despite mother 3 being my favorite of the trio, earthbound will forever be special to me. I recently beat it again and got the urge to listen to this and honestly the more I watch, I always see something new that catches my eye. This cover is still amazing to this day! (This is also the cover that introduced me to Sab and Insane so honestly it’s even better for me because I love both works!)
So I just had a bit of an anxiety attack in the grocery store a little bit ago and shortly thereafter this song came up on my playlist. It did SUCH a good job of calming me down, it was like taking medicine. Thank you all for this wonderful, lovely piece of musical art!

This is such a comfort watch for me. Pollyanna was already one of my favorite songs of all time, but everything about this arrangement just puts me at ease. Adri is always the purest thing to watch whenever she’s singing, the jazzy flare added to the accompaniment is just a vibe, Jules’ normally driving electric guitar hits just right to compliment the arrangement while still feeling pure and chill, Sab’s adorable, subtle swaying when she does the “oo”s, Carlos’s pleasant bari sax providing a comforting bassline. It’s just all perfect. I always come back to this cover whenever I need a reminder that happiness is just a point of view, or just to being myself back to that childlike state of mind where believing in good things made them true. So thanks, y’all.

This is such a comfort watch for me. Pollyanna was already one of my favorite songs of all time, but everything about this arrangement just puts me at ease. Adri is always the purest thing to watch whenever she’s singing, the jazzy flare added to the accompaniment is just a vibe, Jules’ normally driving electric guitar hits just right to compliment the arrangement while still feeling pure and chill, Sab’s adorable, subtle swaying when she does the “oo”s, Carlos’s pleasant bari sax providing a comforting bassline. It’s just all perfect. I always come back to this cover whenever I need a reminder that happiness is just a point of view, or just to being myself back to that childlike state of mind where believing in good things made them true. So thanks, y’all.
