Lately these scanners have been a 100% fail. They lead you in the wrong direction. The old multimeter has been very useful and saves alot of frustration.
I added seafoam to my gas tank x2 and it cleared out my cat, and now it runs and it idols great, recently my truck was running rough for a few months and when summer came it took forever for the AC to cool the cap, so I added two cans of r134 and it cleared up both issues ! Me very happy now😊🥳🇺🇸
I love your video cuts, Good audio quality, straight to the point with not just 1 specific car model in mind! I would appreciate it if you'd convert imperial to metric. As subtitles would do nicely 😁
Sorry I have to disagree with you about the replacement or changing the 02 sensor or sensors just because. If there was a problem with them you would have had a code as well , if you used a scanner you surely know,in which the DIYer doesn’t have. Make sure that DIY use factory 02. Mix and match 02 sensors will cause issues . PS I had the opportunity to have spoken to the head engineer from Magna Flow about this very issue. But I really do enjoy your videos and emails . I very much appreciate your knowledge.
Beware diagnostics from a parts store. There's a conflict of interest. Before doing something as expensive as replacing a cat, test thoroughly to rule out other causes and try running a cat cleaner (e.g., Cataclean). A cleaner cleared my P0420 2 years ago and it hasn't come back. That sure beat a new catalytic converter.
Hello sir They did this test on mine and the air pressure gauge didn't move at all as he stepped on the gas he said the air is going through as it should is this true ? The pressure gauge didn't move at all when he hit the gas he said if it was backed up the guage would move
I have a 2003 Silverado. Starting from a stop is the only time it feels like it is starting out in 2nd gear . I have a new transmission, and fuel pump. Any ideas ?
+@joelmabrey2569 We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c

Or maybe it's a way to pry.... You know way to pry money out of people cash a payoff... Maybe even a fish 😊 but I can assure you that those vehicles with her old or new are not sluggish 🙂 how do I know I'm a client of the used car bowers 🙂 but it's not my vehicle I've been lucky I haven't had to buy one. But if I ever do I'll be good and sure to let you know 🙂

I had that code and the culprit was the Air filter !! There are many things that throw that code !! Mechanics love that code

That’s literally what’s wrong with my truck right now. Good video
What if there is no check engine light and no diagnostic codes but still has loss of power while accelerating
I don't have a light on but lacking acceleration, What do you think?
Always love how concise you are with your videos. Tool list and step by step instructions for us mechanic wannabes 😅

Here in Florida we cut those off and go on our merry way. Emissions 😄
On my 2006 Chevy Malibu have that problem, especially when you can't get air conditioner flowing!
Show a video replacing the o2 sensors.
My body feels like this everyday !!!!! Please bring me a whiskey I'll be ok 😂

2:41 lot of porosity on that weld
My 2009 Ford F150 doesn’t have any check engine lights but it does seem to lack some power. Could it be this?

Hey brother does bad valve gaskets cause a bad catalytic convertor?
Nice post 👍🏽🏁🏁🏁

When i forced the acceleration the car runs smoother after why is that?
My 2021 gt Durango feels sluggish sometimes
I have a 2011 Chevy traverse that is doing that...
P0420 sucks.
Had to replace catconv in my daily driver, $160, DIY job..
Most likely if it's a used vehicle sluggish... If it's a new vehicle most likely sluggish...
Because warp speed hasn't been achieved 🙂
I know why it's sluggish. It's a Chevy.
Sluggish? It got that 420
