I love the little details, the pilot stopping for breath, the marine saying he never thought he would see so many Spartans, the fact that the marine in the tower could see the elites footsteps and hear what was going on and that it took him a moment to understand it, and who couldn't love that entrance from the general and the rest of the elites.
The elites taking cover when under fire also really helps them feel like they're not just mindless goons that are only there to make the Spartans look cool. Feel's like they actually want to win.

The fact this guy is able to get down the ODST's, Spartan, Marines, and now the grace of the Elites is insane, this guy has the vibes and style down so well its insane.
To anyone who forgot. The Spartans didn't randomly fire and hit those elites. Rather, thier perception is so great that they can see the refractive camo disturb the air

The Spartan-IIs typically had older armor because they were in service longer and rarely had the opportunity to get pulled off the front lines for resupply. IIIs like most of Noble had newer, experimental configurations, hence the VISR mode, which was still in its infancy by the fall of Reach. That's why the ODST VISR mode used in New Mombasa could pick out cloaked enemies so easily compared to the one Noble Six had.
I absolutely love how not just the spartans, but the ODSTs immediately reacted to the threat, and were ready. People forget that ODSTs are desperate measures for a reason.
When the elite whipped out the twin blades and dove in with the spin move I actually yelled "holy shit" in genuine fear for our protags Can't wait for the full thing!
The last 2 wips really goes to show that properly using the soundtrack from the original games and can really easily evoke the emotion you want in the cinematography.
Holy hell man, theres like not enough words to describe how f*cking awesome these wips are. It's so much better than what official studios with loads of money can make. You have something they dont have, & that's pure passion. Major props man keep it up ✊
The way the duel wielding purple elite did a graceful twirl downward despite their armor and size really demonstrates the graceful lethality of elites we've been lacking in official Halo cinematics.
Outstanding in every way. Lighting and character movement are top notch. At 1:29 you can see as the Ultra ignites his energy swords, it lights up the surrounding rain as he falls. Not to mention the fluidness in which he is animated. Actually unreal halo content, your stuff is the definition of time and effort!

This looks so good I cannot wait for the full release, there are so many things I adore about this from the blending of art styles (and how well done it is), to the down to earth "realism" that is applied, and how nothing feels out of place. This is probably going to be one of the greatest pieces of Halo fan media of its time.
SODAZ I love your work, it's so amazing to see someone put so much effort and care into this. I love the nice balance between Humanity's forces and the Covenant. It's not so Spartan heavy to a point where ot blocks out the mere man fighting, the Marines aren't mere fodder. The Spartans have a right amount of Humanity and robotic efficiency without going overboard and the ODSTs hit the drop hard with the New Mombasa Vibs. Great job really, it's amazing. Be cool to have a Marine pull a Sgt.Forge on an elite though
When the Elite sniper you fight is one of the Jackal's Drill Instructors from Halo 2 Legendary. My guy went for the hearts. That's beyond Legendary difficulty.

Don't Spartans have access to a VISR mode like ODSTs have? ODSTs can see faint outlines of camouflaged enemies with VISR mode.
