As if I started this weight loss journey in November, and I've lost a whole 14lbs (1 stone) by the first week of February on Slimming World! Go me!
Food is SOOOO expensive right now, and not being prepared for your week ahead can only lead to disaster. It will cost you more money to buy ready meals, prepped food or food from a cafe/takeaway AND will likely derail any weight loss because you're not in control of the ingredients.
I've found that spending just a bit extra on my food shopping, will save me (and Dan) so much over the course of each week! We're saving about £5 each per day on lunch, another £3-4/day on breakfast so.......we're quids in! 😄
Having tried other weight loss plans, keto, fasting, calorie deficit...nothing has helped since I put weight on during lockdown. Slimming World is the only thing that I can easily stick to and is giving me results.

Nice video but cannot help to wonder. You have full grown 4 adults living in the house and how come you are the only one at the kitchen. And you are even plating them and serving them at the table. I understand that if you are a stay at home mom. But the fact you are also full time working makes it extra worse. I am in Asia and we always help around the kitchen ni matter how young. I remember grating coconuts and peeling onions at before even preschool. When cooking we all help around the kitchen farther mother and kids. And I thought westerners are more modern than us.
Side not:- what a cute puppy. Look like he is a good boy
Also a tip - get a peeler. You wikl waste less from your veggies and fruits. Aso it is super fast to remove skins than a knife
Oh my husband was helping, he was carving the meat whilst I was plating the veggies. The kids keep out the way until it's ready, otherwise we're all just on top of each other and it stresses me out! 🫣. Great tip though for the peeler with the kiwi's!!! I tried this last night and it worked wonderful, thank you so much! Our puppy is a girl, (both dogs are girls) and yeah she's really cute, but I guess I would have to agree, wouldn't I?! 🥰😄😄🤗. Ahhh I’m so happy you’re here with me. Yes it was. It’s cooked and frozen. So tip it on the salad frozen and it’s perfectly defrosted when I come to eat it, it’s sooo easy 🫶🏼❤️🫶🏼
