The really low notes just hit right at the heart! The resonance of the instrument is to die for! Honestly, if not the flute I'd play the Teorba for sure!
A marvel of sound, interpretation, ornamentation ... a marvel of technical perfection. I'm trying to play this piece ... but now I just want to give up ;-) Thanks Klaudyna
Beautiful, delicate rendition with perfect articulation. Do you travel to France from time to time to give concerts and/or lessons ? About this particular Chaconne : would you think appropriate to play the theme after each variation (like a Rondeau) ? About the last variation you play in the video : is it included in De Visée's tab or did you write it ? Anyway, it is a great pleasure to watch your videos
Thank you! :) Last summer I spent some time in France for concerts and holidays and I hope to come back soon, but nothing concrete for now... About the last variation: it's not there in Saizenay version, but you can find it in de Visee's Paris Manuscript. :) And yes, it's nice to repeat the theme more often! Maybe I wouldn't do that after each variation, but at some places.
Beautiful, way too short, though. I could have listened to several more minutes. I thought this piece had sort of a middle eastern flavor compared to other DeVisee pieces I've heard. Looking forward to hearing more from this performer, some Weiss, perhaps?
Hello, on this recording I have a combination of gut strings from Aquila and a few wound strings from Pyramid (2, 5, 6, 7). Works really well. :) Greetings!
Beautiful and with a remarkable understanding of the text. A slightly freer phrasing would enhance the expressive potential which, at the moment, is still in its nascent state. Thank you.
@@klaudynazonierek3598 Thanks for the reply, and sorry for my long delayed response. Great to know about such an interesting difference! I'm a session player and I usually use alternative tuning for my instruments (mostly different kinds of electric guitars - with some Eastern quarter step frets in place for Persian traditional tonalities). I wonder though why they have the decided to tune the A that way for baroque instruments? Any particular reason? Cheers!
Hello, I would advise you to try this way: Academy of Music ---> Early Music Department ---> Lute Class. And if you don't think about professional playing, you can try to find a lute teacher in your area or maybe someone who teaches online? Good luck! :)
Robert de Visée would be pleased to hear that interpretation of his music
Merci charmante Klaudyna.....🤍🤍🎵🎵🌹🌹

What a wonderful reading of this music. It’s obvious that you have worked long and hard to realize this performance. Thank you!

Ti amo sono italiano
There is a huge problem with this interpretation : it is waaay too short !
I think I will have to use the loop-playing option !
Complimenti! Bel fraseggio e bel suono.
Bravo
Like a double bass and guitar had a baby.
what a wonderful perfetto astrante via Klaudyna vamos
Waiting for more videos and your spotify profile!
It's a beautiful piece, the first one other than Bach's to move me. It's hard to get away from Bach, he's so powerful.
Try Weiss' Chaconne. Very beautiful too.
Listen to downland
❤️
Phantastic.
wow
Wow

♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️💎
👌🏻
Great interpretation!
Is the instrument build after Christoph Koch (Choc) or Matthias Buchenberg?
You are of an embarrassing beauty at one with the instrument you play as sweet and enigmatic as baroque music can be.
🙇♂️
What are the two spots on the fingeboard? 1e and 6e fret.
Excellent performance!!!
Thank you! :) They are there for better tuning :)
@@klaudynazonierek3598 Thanks for your answer.

Supurb theorbo playing!
Dear Klaudyna, could you tell which strings are you using?
Regards from Brazil!

Incredible performance indeed. I just had a question. Am I confused or is this in A♭instead of A? To my ears it's not in A at all. Cheers!
Thank you. :) I understand your confusion, it's A=415 Hz. :) We usually tune baroque instruments a half tone lower than modern instruments.
Older standard for A (has a lower frequency than the present). Contemporary to the time the piece was written.
It also exists in D Minor and she's ornamenting eighth notes with inegales to create a more swing effect

how did you make the little flat sign appear in text ? i always just use lowercase b like Eb.
The theorbo is a beautiful instrument. What are the marks on the fretboard, positions 1 and 6? I'm curious.
They are little frets, helpful for playing in tune.
Where can I buy such a lute?
The best way is to order it from a lute maker or to look for a second hand instrument. This theorbo was made by Martin de Witte.
@@klaudynazonierek3598 Thank you for your answer.
How did you learn the theorbo? I want to learn it, but can't find much information.

Theorbe by Andreas von Holst?
By Martin de Witte :)
@@klaudynazonierek3598 Thanks!
Beautiful! I just wonder why your poor left-hand does not get mixed up!
... .. .
nice. however, I prefer one-string instruments.
Professional, great performance !
Great ! Bravo !
Incredible.
Beautiful
