I got my skateboard a week ago and I was just getting comfortable with my board. Today I said to myself I’m going to try to shuvit. My hole day I was trying to do it and I just did it
Im not %100 sure what you were trying to tell me but when i got my first board i tried ollies and shuv its in the grass and got them my first day, my ollies where about 2 inches high in the first week in grass and finally got used to the concrete in like 2 months after having a good ollie about knee high after like 3 months of skating i tried to learn a kickflip and i couldnt commit at all on concrete so i moved to dirt and grass. When skating grass make sure your parents are ok with it cause it will kill the grass very fast. it took me about a week to get close to landing it and i just kept trying and Also i am Goofy so my right foot is my front foot when im on the board

marc stoker I learned heelflips in 6 months because I went to the skate park every week and practised for at least 10 minuets every week, no matter what. Maybe try the same thing with kickflips
3:27,once my friend saw me land a SMOOTH Ollie and I have been skating for 3 months and he said,I think in going to quit skateboarding cause I have been skating for a month and I can't even Ollie but I said do not quit it took me like 3 months to land ollies and that stoped him and he keeps skateboarding now and now he can almost kickflip
The easiest trick to learn after riding your board definitley is a manual, it doesn't matter if it's only on flat for a certain distance, or in and out of other tricks, it still counts. Shove it requires jumping and turning your board under you. Ultimately you would want to do it while riding and that's where it is one step harder. I see kids at local skateparks all the time and all they do is trying to stationary ollie, which they can't, then kickflip, because yes, that's apparently the only tricks you would want to do and when they can't land them in 5 tries, they try a shove it and they just do whatever and don't even ride their boards around or try riding switch or simply do manuals for the sake of balance building. I can barely ollie over a normal skate wheel's size (onto tiny, tiny curb) while riding, yet I can manual the long side of the park and can at least push fast and carve in switch stance. Why use your time for failing at advanced stuff that's holding you back when you can learn so many important base skills in the meantime..
That's the other major point I want to make, if you ride around, push switch, do manuals and nose manuals, (even if they are very short) you don't waste your time, you actually are getting that board-feel and the control and overall you feel more comfortable trying things. My manuals are also only on flat at the moment, but once I get the ollie down, I will have no problem using the manual pads for example. Like Aaron says: Ride around, have your board around you, and just do the most basic things before even attempting tricks. And yes, you shouldn't try 1 thing over and over again, break up the monotony by trying Shove It, Nose Manual, etc.. I recommend trying max 3 different tricks at the same time period. Ollie, (Nose)Manual, Shove It. For example. PS: Your writing is very disorienting. :P
@@CaliberFiftyVideos i agree about learning more then just ollies and kickflips and flips. I dont agree with manuals being easy tho, I've been trying them since day 1 a lot because i like them and would like to nail them, but after nearly a year i still suck at them, my record was probably like 1 parking space and like 2-3 seconds. If i try longer ones i always end up raizor tailing. And forget o about nose manuals i can't even do them

I was afraid of even putting my foot on the board. It took me a few months, but the more I went out to skateboard the more comfortable I got and the fear started to subside. Just keep skating and you'll be doing it eventually :)
Tails any deck you want, independent or thunder trucks (preferably hollow series), bones bearings and wheels. Setup will cost anywhere from $120 to $200 depending on what deck and whatnot. The main thing is you don't have to get ceramic bearings as they are better but much more expensive. @@Iwishicouldbackflip I'd say vans is the most popular, not the best. Really if he made a video it would be subjective just like anyone else would do if they were asked what the best skate shoes are. Just look for suede material and a good grip at the bottom, preferably flat shoes.

My name is Aaron Kyro, I am a professional skateboarder from the sAn frAn sissco bay area
The thing about me is I learned the Ollie putting my skateboard on a crack but now I try while moving I can’t do it
It keeps on pivoting and ending with me falling hard on the ground
OMG!!! I just landed my first one!!!! Thank you soooooooooo much!!!!!!!
I can't do sh*t on skateboard because I'm a pussy. I've been skating for two weeks and I can't do a shuvit
Guys I love the vid but I’ve been practicing a shiver for a while now but I got the motions down but I can’t find out how to get my feet back on the board to land it I’ll always get at least one foot on but then I can’t get the second can I get some advice?
Biggest tip I got from another vid is when you shuvit jump forward at same time landed in after couple attempts hope this helps anyone out there struggling to land this
Two hours later and I’m screaming “Let’s Go!” to absolutely no one. Landed three without stepping off the board and called it a day
I'm having trouble spinning it. Can anybody help me.
I have tried this trick forever (3 months) and still can’t get it but I can Ollie for some reason?
