my son is the owner of this sled. I can say with 100% confidence that this kit is out of this world an improvement! !! it changes the complete feel of the machine. it does not require a handlebar riser and it certainly raises the seat more that 1". it brings the bum of the rider up at least 3" but feels like more. this kit is worth way more than the price tag. challenging to put on properly, but that's the way she goes..... incredible upgrade. powermadd knocked this out of the park!! Anybody wanting Powermodz stickers, T shirts and other swag can contact myself anytime. as well as Adam Trevor Kent on Facebook. .
Hello Mr PowerModz, I just wanted to tell you that I somehow stumbled onto your videos and I just love them! I haven't even owned a snowmobile for the last 8 years or so. I mean I just watched you recover a seat and watched the whole entire vid without skipping through at all. You do such a great job, explaining the procedures and you do it in a very entertaining way as well. I just had to tell you how great all your vids are!!!! Makes me want to get out and wrench on my own stuff. I'm from Michigan and you are also very easy for me to understand, just everything about your video' are top notch. Well, I'm probably starting to sound like I've got a crush on you or something so I'll stop now. haha. Take care, AA
Very helpful, thanks. I left the original seat cover on my sled in case I decided to go back to stock. The plastic is tough to staple into, need to press down very hard to get good impact. I used an electric stapler and 3/8" staples. Also, I angled my bars a bit higher, about ten degrees of rise (I have an '05 Renegade).
I just bought a 06 ski-doo rev 600 summit and i live on the flat land kind of dumb but if you guys had seen how clean it was and the mileage and you had the $$$$ you also would of been itching to buy it
I'm thinking of replacing my stock rev ( renegade) seat with a 440 race seat. they seem to be a bit taller and I'm not a fan of the big plastic piece on the end and that will take it out. What do you think of this idea. love all your videos.
if any one could answer this question it would be much appreciated. so i have a 1998 polaris indy 500 and when ever the temp out side is warm there is a low end bog but once i get in to the high end its a littel better but not much it will go 40 - 50 mph full throttle. when it say -2f it runs like a dream but if its say like 15 and above the lowend bog is terrible
+Nacho Rider if you are talking about performance changes in warm weather (warm being -5 celcious and up) im a motosport tech i have seen this problem a lot. try cleaning the carbs and change the fuel filter. if that doesnt help then you probably have to look at getting the carbs jetted which is not a beginers job. last resort is a fuel pump those can be pricy.
Do NOT do this as your first journey into upholstery. ESPECIALLY if all you have is an electric stapler. Unless, you're okay with it looking like a black trash bag wrapped around a football. Powermodz did a very good job though, his looks great.

Could you put up episode 10 of the Elian restoration
I think the seat foam could have been a bit wider and a bit stiffer. Then the cover wouldn't scrunch up as much.
That’s sleds from down in hookset nh near my home town of Hampton nh.
