    I impulsively bought this guitar a few months back and I’m in love with this thing, it plays smoothly and sounds fantastic, the action is fantastic stock and fretting is a breeze and I’ve gotten so much more skilled with complicated riffs using it since then, if you’re looking to get it I’d highly recommend it’s so comfortable to play and is a STEAL

    This is the BEST series in high gain on yotube, quick and sharp, streight to the point about sound and aspects, and with time marks in the video. Well done to the involved ones!

    Can tell this thing plays awesome. Great distorted and clean Sound. Comfortable playability. Stays perfect in tune. Only the craftmanship could be some better but hey it is for playing. All in all a 9/10 for the good Price.
    Edit: Also after 1 1/2 years this thing rocks… Neck is super comfortable, always love to grab her…

    Awesome demo of this guitar. Nice job. When I was reseaeching this guitar before purchase your demo is actually the only one of this guitar and because of your great job the only one needed. Good job man. Nice riffing.

    I like everything about the guitar but the pickups. they just aren't doing it for me, so I planned in swapping them out and maybe getting a 3-way toggle swatch instead. everything else is fine about it.

    I can't find my RG420WK (anywhere) online. Honestly, do people hate the damned thing? I've had mine in a case for years, only to bring it out to dust it. It's in mint condition with no scratches or marks or fret-wear of any kind. It has been plugged in to an amp only twice. It's been discontinued, and no more information is readily available about it. I wonder if it can actually be a rare one.

      @@kschab I ended up with a used rg6003fm with Seymour Duncan invaders. I liked the Jackson but couldn't pass up the other deal. Jackson neck is nice for over all playing, didn't care for the pickups as they are ok for decent distortion and cleans are mediocre. Ibanez stock quantum pickups and 5 way switch allow for more variety of tones. Although the invaders kick some serious butt . If I could have found a Jackson with better pickups I would have gone that way. The Jackson's stock strings ,nut and tuners are inferior to Ibanez as well. My 2 cents.

      I didn’t need a setup when I played it but, I would never pass on a guitar is it needed a setup out of the box. Guitars travel long distances in most cases and various weather conditions.

    can play in drop G tunning with this guitar?

    • @NickHillMakesMusic
      @NickHillMakesMusic 2 роки тому +5

      I wouldn’t. Drop G is baritone territory. With this scale length, you’d lose tension and playability and you’d need super thick strings which typically lack tone. Drop C would be the lowest I would personally go. Cheers
