@@TheJMedia Wouldnt it be better to use 4b12 cams instead of evo ones just because the 4b12 is a bigger displacement which help to optimize power input/output of the car?
Great question! From what Ive heard, the Evo x cams are more aggressive even though the 4b12 cams are bigger displacement. I swapped out my 4b12 cams for Evo x ones. With a good time and the Evo x cams, it should give about 20hp extra
@@TheJMedia I agree, I saw some old forums about tuning basic lancer, he brought it up that 4b12 it gives bit more but 4b11/evo cams you can drill them to get extra degree but I have not done it tho I'm waiting on that stimulus check to finish what I need to do, I'm running a cvt which I want to replace if I want any chance to get more then 5psi.

Hey Justin, can we put in the GSC S2 or S3 cams of Evo in an ES lancer (4B11 2.0) or just stock Evo cams are enough? And after installation, does the car require a tune?
Great question! Oem Evo x cams would drop right into the lancer. If you want to put stage 2 or more cams, you will have to change out valve springs and retainers too. Also need to get a tune whichever cams you swap out
