Hi! Gen. Thank you for the great video. Sharing. I followed Jin Young and Hyo Joo for 18 holes round 3. Studied them from tee to knockdown shots. You are close. Gen , you are so close. Always wishing you the best!!
The other thing is it can take a couple of holes to get into a golf groove, especially after a delay because of rain. And then you also can take a couple of holes to adjust to the playing conditions. To start off +2 and then go -5 the rest of the way is some pretty good adjustments, even if you did seem to find a fair number of bunkers. I always enjoy your course management.
Thanks for another great video, Jen. Good tips. As a recreational player, with no coaches, when bad shots throw me off, I don’t know how to fix the bad swing, so a lot of analysis thinking goes on for awhile. Therefore the game could be a little off track for a few holes.
I tried what Nick says then started feeling real hungry 😂 Lovely course OCC by the way n looking forward to playing it when I get time to go back Sg from a work break
I play golf almost every single day. I play every shot is the most important shot and every bad shot is a good miss as long as it is not horrible and even then forget about it and move on. Also, I play each hole as a separate mini game, so if the previous hole was good or bad does not affect the next hole. Additionally I try and play law of averages and go for probable shots in my skill set. Today I had several bogies and one triple and still managed to pull off an ok +7 over par on 18. My shot game distance control was a bit off today. My target for a good round is +4.
Additionally when I have a good shot, I try and burn everything into my head such as the tempo and the commitment to the shot as well as the pre-shot routine.
You are an amazing gift to humankind. You don’t need luck but hard work and perseverance pay off when you have what it takes. You obviously do. And the view is always great where Gen is in. GBG NO EDITS.
Dark moments can be very uplifting. For example, from an amateur point of view those moments are great for uplifting the handicap to reality status. For the professional this can be way more difficult. Dark moments do pass and they can very well lead to enlightenment. For example, you are an amazing person who will succeed because you have what it takes not necessarily as a golfer but as a person. Acceptance of genius is one of the hardest things because it means you are different. It is almost impossible to be humble. Ego has to slide. GBG NO EDITS.
My reactions to the comments is somewhat mixed which is not that unusual. Personally i enjoy watching your videos because they are personal yet relative. The one thing that is obvious is your subscribers all seem to have a strong personal interest in your sucess.
Definitely need Dentail Implant. Teeths are everywhere. But your commentary on the course is very good. Its like we are playing. keep it up. Swing? Well i want to see symmetery. And shallow swing. Putting is excellant. Pitching and chipping need work. dont aim flag but 1 feet away and draw it. Basically depends on hole slope though. need a good caddy to research that hole undulation. If hole is in uphill then aim hole . if hole is in down hill or flat its better to hit away and bring it back. chances of falling into hole is far better.
Gen, that round was sick! You’re a first-class example of maintaining patience and staying positive even during tough moments.
Good talk, golf and guests

So glad you are back to creating more regular content!
What a beautiful person. Wonderful golfer.
Very good and practical advice on focusing on the moment

Genevieve Ling and Sidekick Golf is where I learned to play like that. I've been subscribed to her channel for many years.

Very stable swing

Terrific shoes!
Thanks Gen great video when did you get the new putter
Tour AD iron shafts 🤩
Are they 75s or 85s? Just wondering
You could have been 9 under with all those nice birdie chances, WOW
Hi, Gen. That was a fun video. I think you were better with the last putter than the one you have now. 'I'm just saying.' Bye.
I think she has fewer right misses but maybe a few more short misses with this putter. Overall, better putter.
I am committed to my targets, my mind on the other hand, is committed to topping the ball recently..... lol
could you please play Vanda too?
What sunglasses are those?
she knows not to force the birdie
I'm with food guy... after a fireball shot.
seems most of your misses are on the low side

4 over par after 3 holes the round is over.....
Gen Ling… kabuki golfer 👍🇲🇾🤡

you cant hole out all the time or hole in one all the time thats only for certin situations lol
If you could get your green reading ability up to the level of the rest of your game you would be a force (and you would have shot at least 66)
