Hello, what logic pro version has this ADR option?
It's not a specific ADR function, but Logic's ability to handle video! Any DAW that can handle video and display its audio in a track should be able to achieve the same effect. :0) For your question, it's pretty much every version of Logic and other DAWs that can handle video.
Can you show us how to set up our Daw like yours is? As having half the screen Logic Pro and half the screen that video. or is it two completely Different softwares?
When you're using Logic (not sure how it works on other DAWs), when you drag-n-drop a video into the software, it creates an audio track and a window with the video! From there, I simply resize to make it fit the top half. I have the bottom half (the two audio tracks) saved as a template, which also preserves the window size and location. :0)

Question: Is there a way to get the countdown, the timing visualisation and the lyrics from the dubbing book appearing in a kind of bottom line view of the video window? I know that protools and innuendo are providing this in the box, but as far as I am using Logic I wonder if there's a way to provide this helpful feature as well.
That is a good question! I'm uncertain if such function is in Logic natively, as I don't use this DAW to dub in that way (since I'm also the engineer who can see the waveforms, I personally don't need a beep track). Playing around with VoiceQ might be able to provide you with some of that karaoke-like functionality, however!

that character’s voice sounds good, what Mic are you using and preamp and how far is the mic from the actors voice?

I may not be an Apple fan and don't own a product, but... is this userfriendly? One day i have to know how to use advanced Software with the right hardware.
Any DAW that can handle video will work! Reaper handles video, too, I think!
