2005 Chevrolet Impala LS Start up, Walkaround and Vehicle Tour

Welcome to JustinsCarReviews. Today I present to you the 2005 Chevrolet Impala LS. In my opinion I would take this gen Impala over the 2006-2013 gen. Comfort is really good in this car and also interior space. Legroom in the backseat is pretty good also, But I could've wished for more thigh support. Trunk space is also excellent. The power plants, you have 3 choices. The 3.4L V6 with 182 with a time to 60 MPH in roughly 10 seconds. The second is GM's 3.8L Series II V6 producing 200 HP with a 0-60 time of 8.5 seconds. And lastly the 3.8L Series II V6 "Supercharged with a estimated 0-60 time of 7 seconds. Overall the Impala is a strong highway car and comfortable cruiser. I had a base model 2005 Impala and drove it until the transmission gave out at 227K back in 2014. Currently have a 2004 LS with a few extra options than this one like leather seats, etc. couldn't be happier with it. I'll drive it until it falls apart and it's got around 107,000 miles on it so it will be around for awhile!

I agree with you on that also, the 3.8 in my current Impala has plenty of power, my neighbor has a Pontiac Bonneville with the 3.8 and the original motor just went out at 285,000 he put a new motor in it and he's got 290,000 on it already.

Yes LS motors are built good and can last a lot, that is if you take good care of it!
