Sorry for the delay. Thank you James, I do seem to have more issues than most but will always show the good times and the bad. I’ve still got a lot of learning to do clearly as I’m laid off now still with the ankle problem. Back to the drawing board!
Was kidding myself hoping it was going away mate, wasn’t to be. Please think about next years one mate I would love to run round that with you if you fancied it or just to see you at the start if you prefer to run alone. See how things go 👍🏼
Hard luck, Stevo. When you have recovered and you’re up for racing again, consider starting with shorter ones and working up to the ultras you have been aiming for. They are not for all of us. Nail a half, then a marathon and then see where you are. Keep us up to date. Videos about your experience of dealing with setbacks are very useful to everyone.
Wise words as always, Henry. I’ll be sure to build up slowly after strengthening even though that’s what I feel i did this time but I obviously need to be stronger still whilst not running and aggravating any niggles further. Time for the bike for a while for cardio I think. Thanks
I’ve had this recently. Couldn’t do more than 20 minutes without pain. At first I couldn’t do more than 2 minutes. Physio helped. Really sorry for you 😔
Thanks Conrad. It’s a really annoying injury isn’t it! I’ve just booked in for a scan and physio so hopefully I can make some progress like yourself. All the best
Really disappointing... Most runners have been in a similar position and had to pull out of races. Hope you can come back, that Miler distance is a whole new ball game
Sorry to hear this mate! 🙁maybe it’s happened for a reason, I’m sure you will come back stronger 💪
Your only human mate, keep your head up and move forward
Sorry to hear this mate. Just wasn't to be this time. Onwards and upwards 👍🏻 Speedy recovery fella.
gutted for you, but probably a wise decision. God luck on your revovery. 🤞💪
Sorry to see this. Looking forward to seeing more content, this is one of the most relatable channels.

@@StevoRuns you’ve gotta take the time off you need. Don’t stress about getting back too soon. Health is most important.
Gutted for you though thought there was a good chance of this. Right decision. I might put my name in for it next year.

Argh no, I’m gutted for you. You’re making the right decision to bow out beforehand.
That's a shame, but a wise decision, playing the long game is the right attitude.

Yes that’s true mate, was really looking forward to challenging myself but there’s plenty of time to get them done once I’m fixed up!
