(⌚️🔱God tier content brother🔱⌚️) Would love to see 3 videos. One on all of the absolute rarest pieces. and one on all of the best vintage pieces. And one on the best sentimental watch stories. One of the watch stories that stuck out to me, was prince Charles regular ol Rolex he always wore that his mother princess Diana gave to him... Sometimes the sentimental value is way more valuable than the materials that make up the watch itself..
This is by far the best and classiest GQ watch collection video I’ve seen. It’s a collection that a normal person would want to have. Obviously the nautilus is crazy expensive but still overall it’s a very obtainable collection compared to the other ones they have.
My late grandfather had the Omega Seamaster De Ville. Funny story was when I first got into watches, I went on to collect only Rolexes. I always saw my late grandfather's Omega whenever I opened his drawer in the office, but for like a year or so I never touched it. I always left it there bec I felt it was too small of a watch for me. One day I sat there reminiscing about the good times, I opened the drawer and took a good look at the watch. I knew it was an Omega but it was the first time I heard of the Seamaster De Ville. I put it back in the drawer and went home to have lunch. As my usual routine was, I'd open youtube on my phone and immediately there was that video of Henry Goulding's watch collection. A few minutes later, he mentioned his Omega Seamaster De Ville. I was shocked bec of the years I was collecting that was first time I heard of it and what are the odds of seeing it on youtube too. I immediately went back and took the watch and had it serviced the next day. I'm never the superstitious kind but I felt like it was my late grandfather's way of saying "please take care of my watch". Now it's one of my personal grails. Thanks for for the long read. :)
Why is this great story? What I see is that guy do not value story behind this watch, it’s value for his grandparent. Do not value design of this watch. But youtube video with review of celeb is the one that matters for him.
@@vb.muaddib My thoughts exactly. Only saw the watch's value after 3rd party validation. To each their own, but I don't buy the "it was his way of saying" crap lol
@@vb.muaddib u didn't even understand the message, he spoke about rolexes and how he was under the impression that rolex was the only watch sought after, he often saw the omega that his grandfather had and didn't think anything of it, once his understanding and knowledge of watches has ameliorated, he saw a video about the very watch his grandfather had, so be went and got the watch serviced. Its not our fault that other countries have had a shitty life growing up and not able to afford the democratic luxuries of America lol,
Man, this guy not only has an amazingly eclectic collection, he also seems like an amazingly nice down to earth guy. And I think proudly owning an $8.00 Casio alongside (for me anyway) a mega dollar Rolex and Patek Phillipe speaks volumes about the man👍👍
This is by far my favorite watch collection! There’s no hype. He clearly doesn’t give a shit what you think. He just buys what he likes! A true watch collector.
One of my favorite videos so far. A genuine watch lover who values his watches (not their monetary value) and of course some Nico style thrown in for good measure
I am actually from Kuching, Malaysia! Really excited when I heard you mention this small city where I grew up in. Love all your videos and your personality. Keep it up! hope to get my first luxury watch from Your store some day!
Happy to see a Malaysian getting the approval from Nico! Most us Malaysians, will never be able to buy any of these watches (except for casio), so it's great to see the ones that can afford not buy a Hublot
probably the best video to date of you reviewing a collection! i love how you just let the video of him speaking about his watch continue and then review the watch afterwards. A very class collection, a couple of which i own myself! great that he goes for a watch that means something to him instead of doing the usual thing of buying expensive pieces.
I love how you can tell he is a watch guy because he talks with as much passion about his Casio as he does his Rolex. Loved him as an actor but I love him even more now!
The best guy you've reviewed. What a dude. I'm with a Casio F91W, IWC Mark 16, a vintage Enicar 35mm dress watch (£100. It's very beaten up), a titanium Casio 3 hander and a G shock 5600 Square... The IWC is by far my most loved watch...
Nick thanks for the open concise and considerate review it just shows you have a passion at a story that's why you're a leader in horology thanks brother bless you
This is literally one of the best collections I've seen. Henry seemed really knowledgeable for someone not in the watch industry, and I can't recall you saying a single bad thing. One of your more subdued commentaries 😅
Now, that is what you should call a watch collection. Rather than some sort of a bank account or those bullshit diamond chandeliers that other “watch lovers” would go for. Huge respect to the guy, and Nico of course
I watched the GQ video a couple months back and I couldn’t get over how much I liked his collection and the stories behind them, and also how much I enjoyed Golding as a collector.
This is what I want to see more of!!! Its not just some A lister buying every rolax as it comes out. He knows his history, his knows the brands, everyone of them has a story but they don't need to cost 1 million pounds. But the other thing I love is that his wife understands his love of watches and brought him a great watch for their wedding. I hope we get a video of Nico meeting him and talking watches because both of them would love it. 😁
Ive watched alot of Nico and i think this might be thee only time I've seen Nico praise and agree with every watch in a collection, and props to collection and collector too dude has great taste seems cool as fuck
A very versatile and good collection in my opinion. You can see that he only buys what he likes and he attaches stories to his watches. That’s great! 👍🏻
Holy! I am from Kuching, Sarawak! Fun fact, Henry is from Sarawak as well! I hope to meet you one day as well! A "small" watch collecter myself. Anyway, I love every time piece has a story. That is watch collection. So passionate!
Two important thing to note about the Tudor BB: 1. The one we see here with the smiley writing/Tudor Rose instead of the Tudor Shield house an ETA movement. Where the ones with the Shield house their Inhouse Caliber MT5602. 2. The Black version of the BB with the ETA movement(the one in the vid) was only produced for 6months hence they are pretty rare to see in the wild. Amazing collection Henry Golding has!
You earned my respect for life . This is every man’s ideal watch collection. From the Cartier to the Patek and Pepsi. Down to Casio. I love every bit of this video . God bless you ❤❤❤. Your humility is 💯💯💯👍
Hey Nico! IWC didn’t start in the US as you said, but in Switzerland from an American business/engineer man who wanted to start his watch company at first in Geneva where he didn’t get the best welcome from the industry people. He move then to Schaffhausen, north of Switzerland near the German border to build his watch business that was was bought not long later by a Swiss business man.
What can I say, Nico Leonard approves. More than the watch collection or brands the man know his watch story and does not put them in a safe. He wore 'em proud. Plus the fact that he bought a casio watch for the sake of the feel that he needs to wear one must mean that he really is a watch guy.
This is the best collection featured till date… All watches are different, have a story and are attainable (except the patek & rolex) Much more valued than collections filled with 10 daytonas and 5 nautilus-es…
Nice collection, I especially liked his vintage Omega. It’s also very modest except for the Patek. It surprised me while filming one of his more recent movies he buys a Casio. At that point he would be making good money and he goes and buys one of the cheapest watches you can.
This dude is so passionate about it. He clearly doesn't chase the trends, just gets things that speak to him. I don't care if I like all the watches he has. I massively respect why he has them. This is what collecting is all about.
I liked him before but now I think he might be one of my favorite people lol super passionate guy that really enjoys the value in even the little things
Definitely one of my fav reaction vids on the channel forsure! Nice change to see someone speak with passion and a story about the collection they have, rather then “1/10 pieces this shit cost me 500k” lol
Great storied collection. Seems personal and very relevant to the owner. It’s even better when you can check some objectively style boxes. Gotta respect it
I have 4 watches in my collection a rolex GMT "pepsi" I inherited from my father which was presented to him when he retired from Pan Am airlines, my dress watch a Casio Oceanus OCW-S6000 Manta, my sport watch a Casio G-Shock Mudmaster GSG100-1A8 and my daily work watch Casio GM 2100B in green dial. Seems Casio is the recurring theme but one day I would love to have a Omega Seamaster
I do love watches. I love having different watches for different occasions because I believe every piece is created for something special. With my regular money, I basically just have one thing and I'm very proud of it... The G-shock GA700 which the watch that I dreamed of. Can be used for any kind of activity, It's light, and has a water-resistant of 200m. It's not crazy expensive but it's what I would like to have.
picked up an Oris this year on a whim and since have become infatuated with the brand. They have been knocking it out of the park recently and know their audience. can't wait to see where they take it from here!

This collection was great from the get go. But that Casio got me
So True & Every watch has a lovely mechanism!
seriously, this is a proper watch collection. Class and not over the top, but filled with sentimental values. This is the most ideal collection.
Indeed, thoughtful collection that is not focused on only luxury brands
This interview pushed me to look for and eventually buy a F84W that I'm wearing right now. Henry's cool.
Love this one. He actually buys things he like instead of just going for a brand like Rolex straight away. Seems a very humble n likeable lad.
